Edit: Did Tony push that whole ****ing Oceanliner?!
Well, he was leveling at least half of it. Which makes his CW suit struggling with Cap and Bucky even more cringe-y.
I honestly don't mind the Iron Man/Spiderman dynamic. Tony clearly feels responsible for Peter, and doesn't want him biting off more than he can chew. He brought Spidey into the big leagues, and the last person that he brought into the fold now needs a special leg contraption just to be able to stand. And Spidey himself nearly got squished by Giant-Man. And from Spiderman's point of view, you can also understand why he almost hero-worships Tony. He was a small timer for the most part, and suddenly IM comes into his life, gives him a new suit, and now he's fighting with the Avengers. In the space of a few short days, Tony massively expanded his world. Which also explains his frustration and actions. He fought in Civil War, but now Tony is trying to push him back to street level. So, he wants to prove that he deserves to hang with the big guys. He's a teenager in a post-Sokovia world, where unregistered superheroes get arrested, so why not have a role model who has actively been a superhero for nearly a decade by now, has pull with organisations like SHIELD etc., and has faced multitudes of different threads at this point. People seem to be getting upset that he is not handled the same way as the comics, but comic Spiderman doesn't have the same early history with Tony the MCU version does.
Oh crap!

I'm calling BS on it anyway, When its been known this Spider-Man has a 6 movie deal.
Civil War, Homecoming, IW1, IW2. That's 4 already. Homecoming sequel is 5. Just 1 left then.
I'll cry if this deal breaks apart. But will just enjoy it while it's in place, and boycott any Sony Spider-Man films after.
Should be fine:
Just don't boycott Spider-Man: Homecoming Lol

I like the new Aunt May, the other versions, including the comic one made her too old.
I never thought about it growing up, but it didn't make sense to make May look like an elderly grandmother, when she was the aunt of a teenager. Marisa Tomei is the right age, and it helps that she's still hot.
As for Sony going forward once the MCU deal ends...just try to go back to a solo universe! The fans will never accept it now; this genie won't go back into the bottle.
Heck, Marvel and Disney could just sit on their hands and wait Sony out in a few years, once all the Infinity Gauntlet business has been dealt with.
Originally posted by roughriderStill, it's iconic. I'll always prefer old sweet Aunt May to hot bombshell Aunt May. Just look at her! Lady warms my heart. New Aunt May warms a different organ, which is not what I want to think when it comes to Aunt May lol
