SM tracking 135 with more than a month away. That's incredible. Like i said, I see 200 plus. Maybe 300 M OW.

Are you getting any of that?

^ For Homecoming it's important Kaz, because it would effect whether Sony wants to extend the contract or just permanently share Spidey with Marvel.

That last trailer played before Alien. Film looks awesome. But still Lol'ing @ 300 ow.

This will probably be Marvels biggest yet, I think we're forgetting Spidey is Marvel's Batman, he's by far their most popular character.

^ You think it will be bigger than Avengers?

Has the potential but I just feel the TASM series has left some audiences a bit bored of Spidey reboots. Time will tell how much negative impact that will have (if any).

I'm personally not that excited for it. I think the opening weekend will be less than expected, but probably still good.

Very possible TASM was pretty bad, but I think a lot of people are willing to give something a go just because it's part of the MCU.

You'll be sorry you ever said that!!

😕

Why?

I'm a massive supporter of the Marvel/Sony deal, and a 300mill OW would guarantee it becoming a permanent thing. But it's still a ridiculous prediction lol

Nah, just that you'll be sorry that you weren't in my club (250 plus OW). It's already tracking 135, five months out. That's pretty big. It will only go up from here.

Ah you've already put it down from 300 to 250plus. You can't sneak around me 😛

Also it's less than 2 months out, not 5 lol. A similar early projection pegged Guardians at 160mill. So we know actual numbers can go down as well (not that Spider-Man's will).

That's just my range. 250-300. Early tracking always has them.

Join me, Darth. It's not too late. ✅

2.7 Billion world wide. It will outgross most marvel movies COMBINED. You saw it here first.

I'll go for around Civil War/IM3 numbers. For opening and worldwide gross. But even that's not a lock IMO. Too many potential billion dollar blockbusters this summer.

900mill should be a lock though.

It has the potential to. THINK about it. It's the first time Spider-Man and IM in the same movie. 2 of MARVEL's BIGGEST and most recognizable heroes. Technically it's the second, but this is a reboot of SM, with no baggage.

BvS had that kind of Massive potential as well but look what happened there.

Also reboots do have baggage. Batman Begins had Batman & Robin going against it, so it had to build the hype again from scratch.

However it's all down to the kids. Kids got that garbage SM3 to almost $900mill 10 years ago. So Only the kids can secure the Sony/Marvel deal now!

Yeah, and think about converting 900 plus into today's cash. That's a LOT. In fact, Spider-Man 2 is SECOND place right behind The Dark Knight in ticket sales. Now add Iron Man and you have the number one movie in HISTORY. Other than Gone With The Wind, of course.
