Eh, it only makes logical sense. After all Kenobi surpassing Maul in the 10 year time skip makes a hell of a lot more sense than the massive god tier improvement he got over the Clone Wars. But then again power progression in Star Wars is retarded, and they were foolish in making the Clone Wars a 2 year conflict when instead they could have gone with a solid 10 year long Clone Wars.
I can respect that kind of wank. I reserve that for my main man Yoda though.

It was 3 years, but I agree, the new canon should have revamped it to a good 5 years at least. That's more the kind of time what TCW creators had in mind. But the New Canon hasn't bothered revamping anything in actual need of revamping. Instead they're being pretty lazy and just regurgitating information like that from the Old Canon.
I mean 6 seasons of TCW + all the undeveloped but Canon content, is all supposed to have happened in 3 years?

It just seems ridiculous that this uber hyped conflict only lasted for 3 years. I mean hell I can't think of a single Earth war that lasted only 3 years.

Performance. TPM Maul got his saber cut in half by TPM Kenobi, Dooku humiliates ROTS Kenobi and Late-TCWs Kenobi.
CWs Maul gets demolished by Sidious in 1v1 within 20 seconds, Dooku holds back Yoda for 30+seconds and is able to successfully retreat. I dunno, Dooku consistently holds his own against powerful fighters, where as Maul is depicted as being a rival of Kenobi.
I guess the best way to put it is that Maul is Kenobi's villain and Dooku is Anakin's and Anakin is far more powerful than Kenobi. It only makes sense that Dooku is more powerful than Maul.
Tbh it occurs to me, if they were just gonna bring back like...a ton of Legends info into canon. Wouldn't it have made more sense to just make a list of what they were bringing back and say
"Ok the movies, shows, future comics/novels/games and this list of things are back in canon."
Cause it seems sorta...well redundant to just say the same things that Legends already was going over.

Eh, I think they wanted to launch the new canon before Rebels and the Movies really got into full swing. It'd take either a massive amount of manpower or an large amount of time to sift through all the content.
