Kinda is. War on Drugs and all...
War of drugs is not about Mariguana though.

I gotta disagree. Just because smoking pot could cause danger does not mean it should be illegal.Personally, I'm a proponent of legalizing virtually every kind of drug.
I'm not saying that it should be illegal. I'm saying that comparing it to alcohol is an iffy comparision considering that alcohol got outlawed at some point.
My point was more about American people sucking at selfcontrol, legaliziing drugs would make deaths by overdose skyrocket.

Obama is cracking down on weed despite campaign promises to legalize it.
Indeed. One of the many things I despise about Obama's approach to drug policy. IDGAF what he says, anymore. Only what he does. If he pardons all non-violent drug offenders, I would probably forgive him of all the broken promises and lies. This will never happen.
I find it amusing though that the guy who decided to take time out of his busy schedule to record a "Mean Tweets" sketch for the Jimmy Kimmel show is lecturing us about misplaced priorities. That is priceless.

Oh.idc. Pot heads are the lowest common denominator.
Even if you don't care at all about weed, if you're going to sit there and tell me your president sitting there and lying to you is okay then..I don't know what to say. It doesn't matter WHAT the lie is about, what matters is the lie. The worst most f*cked up part? Asinine people will respond with "he wouldn't be the first president to lie" as if that batsh*t insane logic makes any sense or makes it right.
Plus, it's irrelevant if you feel potheads are the lowest common denominator. You just heard the president say he feels a good portion of young people care about this issue, and then told them "nope, care about what I say you should care about".

"Young people, I understand this is important to you, but you should be thinking about climate change, the economy, war and peace,” he told VICE during the interview, notably published at 4:20 p.m. ET, a nod to pot smoking culture. “Maybe way at the bottom you should be thinking about marijuana.”There's a whole lot of tears in here over a passing comment on priorities.
it was a condescending dickheaded thing to say on multiple levels. not only is he assuming that young people can't confront multiple issues, or that they are so petty to be soley concerned with marijuana laws, but he is blatantly conflating the damage caused by the 'war on drugs'. he was better off just keeping his mouth shut than emitting such a flippant brainfart (as he has probably come to agree, given the backlash).

This guy has a point, and he seals the deal by having a water bear for his avatar.
