The Old Republic: Rise of the Emperor

I don't deny Vitiate dominated his mind. I deny all the hype that goes around it.

You literally tried to deny that Vitiate telepathically broke Revan and Malak when Legend said it one page ago. 😐

I denied that it was a feat - not that he did it.

Perhaps I need to clarify more. :mmm:

It is a feat.

Well, that is where our opinions differ. 👆
Except mine is based on years of material and logical reasoning, yours is based on a sole personal outlook and closed-mindedness.

Well no mine is based on the fact that both Revan and Malak had bananas willpower and mental fortitude even at that point and Vitiate still squashed their wills out like bugs without even standing up.

Neph sums it up well lol.

Again, they went there to kill him. The Emperor confronted them. They were mindraped and set new tasks. Revan and Malak followed their instructions until they were able to break free. 👆

"I am the Battle Master of the Jedi Order." - Hero

Interesting.

.... Why is that interesting?

Because it solidifies her/his rank in the Jedi Order, placing her above all others in lightsaber mastery. We have hyoe and feats, now we also have accolades and titles. The Hero is getting more well-rounded and thus easier to place.

She was promoted to battlemaster about 6 months ago 😛

Got more hype about it then as well...

Cin and Kyle were also the Order's Battlemasters, but that didn't make them above all others in lightsaber mastery. Or even better, the Knight's own predecessor Jun Seros, who probably wasn't even in the same tier as the aforementioned duelists.

And the Knight already had quotes to suggest they were combatively superior to any other Jedi at the time.

Well Cin was supposedly unparalleled in sabers, so idk. Perhaps he just wasn't as strong in the force to keep up, but his technical skill was solid.

Technical skill/mastery =/= Ability/Proficiency

Best analogy is Anakin vs Cin. Or Malgus vs Kao.
