Double Dragon Neon is a better Streets of Rage game than Streets of Rage 4.

Spider-Man Miles Morales - Not a bad game. Decent enough story. It is very much a "Spider-Man 1.5" though instead of a true sequel. Not nearly enough change in actual mechanics in gameplay.

Yeah...I never understood the love the first Spiderman game.

One publication had it as the second best game of the console generation. And I didn't understand.

It's solid and they nailed to the web slinging (admittedly a hard thing to do)...but it's nothing special.

Had more fun with Spider-Man 2018 than I did with God of War 2018 tbh.

I actually rate Spider-Man really highly. It's a very good game imo.

It's easily one of my favourite console games of the PS4 gen. Is it the best, or close to the best game of that generation though? No, I wouldn't say so.

Oh shit I remember back in the day renting the game based on the Spiderman 2 movie.

And it was quality. Very good game. Not just good for a game based on a movie, but good overall.

Can't believe I missed it for free, twice. Guess its worth the 5 bucks on sale. 🙂

The controls are kind of a mess. Most anyone would prefer to use the dpad in a 2d platformer, but it's clearly built around using the analog stick for precision throwing.

Yeah, that one. Don't know why they're even selling Gold, it has less content for the same money.

Get him Guacamelee maybe. All ages kind of game, and who doesn't love Luchador Libre? 👆 (Seems to rely on Xbox gamepads strictly, fyi, doesn't even recognize my Sony pad)

Battletech.

The performance is garbage, but the game is fun. Read a lot of the books growing up, and had the Battletech: The Crescent Hawks Inception for my Apple II.

Naturally, I named myself Jason Youngblood, from the Lyon Commonwealth of House Steiner.

I enjoyed that game....it does get very repetitive though...and some situations you get put into gets crazy hard very fast. Or so I noticed.

How long ago did you play? They reworked a lot of things in base game and its considered much better now. Added some skills, nerfed some op ones, removed others. Added mechs too.

At least a year ago...just the base game.

I enjoyed it....I just remember one mission was brutal for some reason...like I thought I was good to finish it and then another 5 mechs showed up...and destroyed my already beat up mechs. It wasn't very fun.

Ever try any mods?

Roguetech sounds worth trying. Provided my laptop can even run it, as it barely runs the base game, and dips into the mid teens.

Battletech suddenly becomes MUCH more playable, after disabling full screen optimizations.

Also set it to administrative mode, and to Windows 7 compatibility, no idea if either of them are necessary at all.

This also breaks the Steam overlay. Wonder if this breaks achievements too? (Not that I really care about achievements).
