Been playing Hades and Dead Cells on and off. Finally beat the former for the first time on my 40th hour or so, and have yet to clear Dead Cells.
To be honest I'm thinking this kind of game may not be for me, I always hit a wall where it feels like I'm not making any progress and just running on an endless grind. Gets tedious.
Even if I do "git gud", if it took 200 hours getting there vs playing something I actually like, was it worth it?

It's often criticized as a bad rpg. I kind of like how casually you could nuke a town and help out slavers as you can murder the ones who tried putting you up to it.
Honestly, I don't remember any criticism that game received when first released. Aside from the fact it was not the same as the original games.
But yeah, I don't think Bethesda has as many world building choices as you get to do in other games than Fallout 3. I always remember the ghouls trying to get into the tower and if you do it a specific way, they murder every single one of them.
I just want to get to Liberty Prime march, so going full story. The Broken Steel dlc means I can go back to the side quests later.
I spoiled myself on how the Enclave destroys him with an orbital satellite, but doesn't the fact they had that technology all along beg the question of why they didn't simply nuke their enemies where they live?
