Although, at least Tekken lets you buy characters individually, and they aren't expensive.

King of Fighters makes you buy a character's entire team nowadays, thus jacking up the price. Want to play Nakoruru? Cool, but you have to cough up the cash for her entire squad.

And Dead or Alive has the most expensive individual character pricing from what I've seen. And has generally gone crazy on microtransactions, like having to rent hair colors by paying each time you change. 😱

Why not just have a hard "no dlc characters" rule for events?

That way it's guaranteed everyone is competition viable from the base game.

Not sure if my imagination, but setting high priority mode in a high precision game seems to cause input lag, dashing feels a bit off.

Okay I know it's not just me now, they are absolutely making dead cells harder with each update. Twice now I ended up with an elite in the first damn level. And the second level of the Promenade I ended up with an elite a bunch of bombers and two of those straw things with force fields right in the same area. I mean I'm all for a challenge but I haven't even beaten the hand of the king and if this keeps up I might have to roll back the version history.

I say that and made it to The Hand of the King twice now.

That new boss rush also lets you practice problematic bosses, although they also have unique patterns for the rush, but still useful practice.

I think the real mistake was buying all the dlc before playing the base game, dlc is meant for spicing up a post game experience not as a first play. The "follow the light" segment alone will break you without some unlocks and experience.

Just finished doing 100% on the Destroy All Humans! remake

some of those later challenges that the game gets you to do for a achievement was tough.

How many iterations of Skyrim are we on now?

Haven't even gotten my first shout on the 360 version, and still stuck on the early game werewolf quest.

Werewolf's really suck.

Haven't even played Skyrim at all, Not a big fan of the Elder Scrolls games.

Give me the Fallout games, But from the 3rd game onwards. I tried those earlier outings too slow for my liking.

I'll probably get a Switch for Christmas since I hinted at it.

My last Nintendo system was a Gamecube, I figure it's about time, and a PS4 Slim, PS5 would be harder to find, if you can find one new or not gouged to oblivion at all.

And I don't really want another Xbox, my 360 is my last MS system.

Got to say I'm already regretting this looking at Switch's online policy. Sure, lets rent everything out so you lose your games unless you pay us forever.

Not exactly pushing people away from SNES9X with that.

I don't mind a bit for the Nintendo online stuff...but the offerings are generally a pile of shit outside of the normal Nintendo stuff.

For instance, how can you not have Contra on NES Online...yet some of the really strange obscure stuff is there.

NES, SNES and N64 Online stuff could of been amazing if done right but it kinda of sucks.

My needs are simple, I suppose as long as they have the N64 staples I might pony up an expansion pack. Or the basic for Kirby and Earthbound and other games I missed could be worth it.

I wouldn't want it for games I own on SNES and chose to emulate, simply because don't want to restart those games from scratch (Plus there's the hacks, like definitive Woolsley Final Fantasy 6)

You weren't kidding about Contra wtf. Not even SNES Contra 3??

Least Hard Corps is there.

I won't lie, the list is very hit and miss. But I guess what is there would keep me occupied for a years subscription at least, or more..

If people want Contra, just get the Contra Anniversary Collection.

That's not the point though.
NES is about 30ish years old and Nintendo is offering an NES Online service. You would think a service like that would have all the heavy hitters from that era.

Yeah, that's always been the frustrating aspect about the NES/SNES/N64 online.

It works wonderfully and Nintendo's emulators are excellent...

...when the games you want are actually there. They have a few titles missing that should be fairly high priority, one would think.

Yeah, I agree. It does work very well and I really enjoy the saves and how you can go back.

But like come on, no Street Fighter for SNES? Or Mortal Kombat 2.

Does the emulation offer smoothing filters? Because by YouTube videos it looks like an Xbrz filter.

Don't like how Cowabunga Collection does it very raw, yet the unfiltered look is still better then the scanlines for my taste.

Playing Skyrim. Werewolf levels giants, lot of fun.

The sprint is handy for traversing to quest areas, I tried buying a horse in the Whiterun stables and found a dead stable boy, and no sign that you can even buy horses.

Soul Hackers 2 is much better than what reviewers would have led me to believe. Was everyone expecting P5 2 or wtf?

Well that collection is also on the Switch too and it also has the NES version

so why the **** are you complaining for, seems to be for the sake of it.
