So let me get this straight, essential NPC's in Skyrim can't be killed. Vilkis is following me around for a quest, is considered essential, and he just helped me through a few quests where he tanked mage nukes for me, and practically solo'd a fort.
I know there's a magic ring for controlled Wereform at the end of Companions, but I don't really have a problem simply waiting on cooldown. Why give up an immortal l perma follower by simply never finishing that one quest?
Am able to almost breeze past them without the weakness now, it's just annoying doing something that subtle, when you might not even be that good at using the force powers in combat and assume you must be doing something wrong. But I'm past it now, having a blast Force Pushing enemies off ledges.
Btw, Mortal Shell giveaway on Epic looks worth picking up;
Seems like an interesting Soulsbourne.
I like Fallen Order, but I see a LOT of Darksiders in it.
Kind of makes me want to play Darksiders 2.
Thinking about it, that gen was kind of a watershed mark, we had Skyrim, Mass Effect, Darksiders, Dishonored, Metal Gear Rising, and of course Dark Souls. I can't point to a single modern game that is good, that doesn't owe something to the PS3/360 gen.

I guess that's the right way to do it, you're a better man than me I'll tell you that.
But just watch out for the forgeries. I once ordered a complete DVD set for NOIR, the box looked real professional, except fresh glue dripped off the back end and when the box came apart the piracy group actually tucked a logo under the seams.
When I asked for a refund a friend actually chastised me for getting fingerprints on the DVD's. Like HELLO, THEY ARE PIRATES??
Ok, decided am going to settle for half gamepad support, all I really care about is space combat.
So how does this sound;
Free look/mouse aim - Right stick button.
Right analog up - throttle upm
Right analog down - throttle down.
B button - cut engines.
Y button - shield restore.
X button - armor restore.
A button - Not sure, maybe left mouse click?
Left analog stick - mouse control.
Left trigger - afterburner.
Right trigger - guns
Right bumper - missile.
Dpad - various targeting things. Maybe the mission map on one.
Start and select - F2 for "goto" and F4 for docking.
Not perfect but good enough.
Come to think of it I can cut out the keyboard entirely. Main problem is assigning a button for Pairing, Docking, Mission map, and Goto.
Right stick up and down should really be increase/dscrease thrust, right bumper cut engines, right trigger after burner. And maybe right stick button for cruise.
Dpad up is next hostile. I already decided B is escape and A is left mouse click, which means it can get tricky to assign everything.
But I could always simply use the right analog stick in freelook mode if need be.

Screw it, mouse precision or bust.
I'm a fumble fingers and even for me the difference is drastic,.I can beat the hardest missions with mouse support yet struggle at the easiest with an analog stick.
Anyways, the game is fun. But I wouldn't call it better then existing games like Rebel Galaxy, Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, Elite Dangerous, or No Man's Sky. Everyone says it is, but no not really.
