Finished Dead Island 1, Decent game despite it being janky in spotsonto Riptide next, After i do the Ryder White DLC.
Gave it another chance to see if it's as bad as I remember. It's worse.
Find some gas, find some car parts, clear out place, go on fetch quest 999, boring story shite acting clumsy combat.
It's like a bad Dead Rising stripped of all fun.

The way I play games I'd stop partway through my first play and come back months later and be absolutely lost without quest logs. Debating restarting Windwaker as I have no clue what quest I'm on or where in the story I'm in.

Why does everyone talk about Goldeneye but never The World is Not Enough or Tomorrow Never Dies? They were both on PlayStation, and as good as Goldeneye on the N64. They were proof PSX could have done Goldeneye too.
Even some of the PS2/Xbox era James Bond games hardly get's talked about too
it's always ****en about Goldeneye.
Zombie Island, not Riptides. It is actually a pretty fun game. Lot of fetch Quest though. I accidentally gave away my beans that were meant for another quest to that hobo at the lighthouse. I did this twice. Why do they have to link a main quest with that side thing anyways it's really they could have found something else for the bum.
The gas station is all filled with zombies now and everyone is dead, I sure hope that's not my fault for leaving the doors open.
Ok I get it already! Dying Light and the cheap Zombie attacks.
It must work off a director system like Left4Dead, the way the hordes of zombies know exactly where you get you at your most vulnerable, often in front of quest points. Ambushes, speed zombies, collective ****ery, no dirty trick is spared.
Yeah why am I even playing Dying Light? What's so fun about weapons that break way too fast, and being chased across half the map by two or three zombies in daytime and more at night time? All while getting lost or killed trying to find some path towards an objective intentionally kept out of reach.
At least Metroid Prime lets you actually clear out enemies and then work on puzzles, with Dying Light you never get a moment to think.

Honestly love the two games about the same at the end of the day, with Tomorrow Never Dies being a weird middle child out of the Pierce Brosnan era games.
Currently replaying Metroid Prime on my Gamecube, was at Omega Pirate in my last play and figured been long enough to just start over.
Amazing how this came out in 2002 yet still holds up. The Wii "remaster" wasn't even in HD, just widescreen, but they say the Cube actually had better output over a Wii.
