Found an old Thrust Extreme folder from back in the day on an external drive. An old freeware vector graphics Thrust clone. It does not work on Windows 10 sadly. 😖

But the folder of Gravitron DOES. 60 fps, vsync on, but only goes up to 800X600 resolution.

Fun Thrust style game, vector graphics. A shame both of these games are basically lost on the interwebs and will never really work right on modern systems regardless.

The best Thrust clone is still the Dos game Terrafire, which is freely available and looks fine with Dosbox upscaling and filters. Not vector, but the visuals hold up very well.

How do you set cpu affinity through a shortcut again? Been trying to do this while looking up sources and it just isn't working.

Tried setting "set affinity 1" without the quotes just before the "target link" or whatever (Which happens to be in quotes) and tried some variations, not allowing it to save.

Tried copying and pasting the entire address into a text file to make a batch and that won't work either, no idea what I'm doing wrong. It comes out as the location, and the exe says "thrust xtreme.exe", so I add that last past after another "/", nothing.

Dunno why I'm struggling, I"ve DONE this before. It worked.

Windows 10 btw. Hope MS didh't break something in an update per usual.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered. My first time playing this classic.

Been getting back into Dead Cells after the Castlevania DLC dropped.

Dead Rising 1 - Remastered version

the AI is still a bit wonky but not as bad as it was back on the 360.

It's good but a little bit too long for continuous play, planning on going back to the Gamecube original eventually.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. I think this entry would have gotten more praise, but it wasn't released in the West until March of this year. The genre has evolved since then, and few will tolerate dated mechanics.

Maybe not the best idea to wait 15 years to give it to us. ermm

Natsuki Chronicles and Ginga Force.

Actual honest to goodness quality games, not shite like Doom Eternal or Elden Ring.
10 bucks for both feels like stealing.

Leading a big string of people back to safety just to watch them all wander into packs of zombies and get chomped. F**king idiots.

What gets me with the Remastered version. They had a chance to fix the AI up but no they ****en left it as is.

The bit that always pissed me off was the guys in the courtyard in the jeep that kept killing you. I only beat them when they got completely stuck between 2 trees and couldn't move.

It was a great fun game with the ridiculous ways to kill zombies though. Getting them with the post holer and watching them spin around on the end as their legs and arms ripped off while battering other zombies. Good times 😂

Same but it was fun taking the gattling gun all the way to the Supermarket boss fight.

Probably could have saved myself a lot of headaches abusing the juice bar system, lot of stuff there would help with survivors too. Ended up focusing on getting the Mega Buster instead, which basically trivializes the game.

It's been so long since I played it I just watched a few YouTube videos of it and fùck me, it has not aged well at all 😂. Mind you, it's easy to forget it's like 17 years ago it was released.

Oh yeah it's clunky as hell, I really only beat it just to knock it off the bucket list.

2 seems a lot better, I should try a play through since Dying Light just isn't clicking with me.

There's also a laser sword that can be unlocked too, Need to survive for 5 days in Infinity mode

cannot save or pause the game game during that mode.

^ Nevermind...i'm reading that you can pause the game afterall.

Yeah considered going for it for about five seconds before coming to my senses. 😂

The fact is the mini chainsaw and a stack of books is all you need for the zombies, Mega Buster already two shots most bosses, laser swords just not worth the hassle.

Started Geshin Impact. Seems fun for a mobile, not sure I like hearing it has no end game though.

Or that you reach a point where EVERYthing's on a timer hindering progress.

Tekken 7. These are probably my last days playing Kazumi online, because I seriously doubt she'll return for Tekken 8.
