The Witcher 3... Again.
Heh I was just coming here to post a link to a mod for Witcher 3 that adds magic spells. Thinking of trying it after I beat the game. It came out last year, but it just got a recent update.

You can cast fireballs, summon meteors, create tornadoes, summon golems, etc.
Strike Suit Zero, classic edition.
Now I remember why I stopped playing.
"Target the flack beam cannons on that cruiser!" *Manually targets every gun in front view as ship to be escorted gets torn apart, because game lacks a robust targeting system.)
"Stop those torpedo's!" *Still fumbling with beam cannon, now fumbling through godawful targeting system to lock on torpedo's, just before they hit escort ship.*
"Get those bombers!" *16 bombers sending in torpedos, as frigates are attacking with beam cannons, as I fumble through irrelevant targets*
Basically, the targeting system is abysmal. The excuse given is "We designed it for consoles", but that's not it. Something as simple as a "Target what is targeting my target escort" option that automatically prioritizes ship to ship beam cannons would have helped immensely.

To be fair it's not awful. It's not like Morrowind where it's just..you never wanna play it without mods. Oblivion is playable too even though the level scaling system is obnoxious. I first played skyrim on xbox360 and that is when I first beat the game.
Mods can really enhance it though. For instance here is a mod that improves race specific perks that was recently released:

It also changes the standing stones.
Hell there is a mod that allows you to have magical beam duels DBZ style.
What my current installation of skyrim has is magic mods. They f*cked up the magic IMO, it doesn't scale the way it should and by the end of the game you don't feel as powerful as you should. Magic was insanely powerful in the last two games so they gimped it. So I have mods that fix it and increase the damage you do, etc.
And I have a mod that prevents random vampire attacks on towns(these happen once you progress to a certain point in the dawnguard expansion). Reason being it's annoying and sometimes they kill shop keepers, etc. that sell decent things.
Oh and of course you gotta have the unofficial patch installed.

Let me congratulate you on an excellent purchase (if you like no-limit Texas Hold'em poker, that is). Really fun game for the low-price I paid for it. Only issue I had with the game is it would frequently stall on the PS3 for several seconds but didn't happen so much that it made me regret purchasing the game.
