Rebel Galaxy. Finally saved enough to buy the Blackgate, a.k.a. the super star destroyer of RG. Gonna hold off until I can afford to outfit her properly.
Bought this baby:

Should have done it sooner.
Here's the thing about this Privateer clone: You buy capital ships, and each ship has a main ship to ship cannon offense and a secondary anti fighter turret system. The trick here, is each turret costs individually, which gets expensive.
Not so with your main battery. That thing, you buy once, and however many ports your capital ship has, that's how many guns you get.
So say you have four ports, that create four beams or four projectiles. If you buy a ship with 20 ports, you quintuple your firepower.
Which is exactly what I did. Suddenly every encounter listed as "don't even think about it" becomes trivial.

Doom II megawad's and Watch Dogsand occasionally some Fortnite.
Community Chest 4 is awesome.
I actually played through most of that with Freedoom, and then again when I bought Doom II.
Speaking of which, try the Duke it out in Doom mod. Requires some less then popular source port, but it's worth it.

I've been going through the MAYhem wads.
Valhalla Knights 1 on PSP, another great game loved by its fanbase but hated by critics.
It has a very unique and fun battle system, with a very flexible job system, everything is earned instead of given.
Ik none of ya'll have played it, but here's gameplay to change your mind, on emulator:

Finished Gears 5. Was good, bit too much open world stuff. Would have liked more linear segments, and some of the encounters were too hectic, too many big crazy enemies firing explosive shit everywhere. I liked the light RPG elements, upgrading the robot and what not. And the game looked great. Gunplay was as tight as ever.
