If it turns out Black Goku is from Universe 6, I just want to see a good version of Raditz accompany Champa to Universe 7 to explain the situation and before anything is even discussed, he encounters Goku and is like

That would be awesome, we need more Raditz, he was gone before his time.

Raditz seemed so important and then wasn't so quickly.

Purple Vegeta took on Gotenks, beat the crap out of him until he split into two while tanking everything he dished out, then the episode ends when Goku shows up to take on Purple Vegeta.

The episode stresses multiple times that it's the totality of Veget's power, and Goku has 3 minutes to take him down or our Vegeta is gone forever. When they say 3 minutes though, I imagine it's like the 5 minutes that it took planet Namek to blow up in lol.

So next week is Goku vs Vegeta essentially.

Most of the fight consisted of Gotenks hitting him with all of his oddly-named attacks and Vegeta not budging an inch. Then he busted out a couple of his final moves for basically the same result. Vegeta's first punch nearly crushes him, but he keeps on kicking--though from that point on he's basically being batted around like a ball of yarn.

Just solidifies the idea that base Goku and Vegeta are far above even Boohan and Super Vegetto now.

While I did like seeing Gotenks as SSJ3 again (first time in this show if I'm not mistaken), it was just half-baked fanservice with an entirely predictable result.

And yeah, if the "3 minutes" Vegeta has before he fades away is in Frieza time, then he's got nothing to worry about. lol

With the Z fighters speed, minutes is a long time for them which is the reason Goku and Frieza fight lasted so long.

And - ahah f*ck the opinion of others here uhuh - that's why Vegeta considered one minute vs. Kid Buu an eternity.

If Goku goes all out, purple Vegeta really doesn't stand a chance. Except if purple Vegeta even increases the full power he absorbs.

I was so excited to get Trunks and Goten fighting again, and instead what i get is this mess. Ugh because we need another Goku vs Vegeta fight....but at least Goku will finally win his first fight against Vegeta most likely

I wasn't expecting anything different tbh. Vegeta at the level he is at now, everything that was shown should've happened. Hope you all wasn't expecting a fight. Look back at the Super Saiyan 3 Goku vs Beerus fight.

I meant the first episode, I was hoping Goten and Trunks would actually get a some spotlight. But it ended up turning into them not getting anything. and then Vegeta not even saying anything about Gotenks trying to fight something his level of power. And then goes all, i'm gonna die cause you can't defeat me Kakarotto cause I am the best ever.

So with Black Goku being from Champa's earth, where does future Trunks fit into all this? (under the assumption he's still reappearing at some point)

Well, travel between the universes is possible now I guess. Or it could be U6 Trunks.

And yeah, if anything it's surprising Gotenks lasted as long as he did. I honestly thought that first punch did him in at first. Although, Vegeta was obviously toying with him too...
