@CDTM...

That post made me realize how much of a troll you are. Superman hardest fight that killed him didn't even level a city block. Orion and Superman fought in a room the size of small apt and yes, both were trying to kill each other. Black Adam and Superman fought in a city block with human surrounding them, same with the Doomsday fight. You rep this guy who has never even came close to destroying a city in a scuffle.

To be fair, the inconsistency regarding Superman is largely due to the fact that he has different incarnations that were written by different authors with different interpretations of his power. Superman from one series may have an entirely different power level than he does in another series, so while debating with him a specific incarnation should be considered. "Superman" is probably too vague to put against Goku, because as you said there are some versions of him that can be beaten by street levelers.

By Carver's definition of "troll", I'm in good company. 🙂

I agree with this but I'm mainly pointing out his overall perception. He had never in his entire career threatened a planet during a fight. I can't even think of a single fight where a city was threatened. Some of his best fights took place in a city block. Hell, the entire city of Metropolis was surrounding both him and Doomsday during their scuffle without a single person receiving a scratch. CDTM hate is strong. Every fight isn't going to wreck a Universe in DBS. Hell, they will probably have some fights where nothing happens but that doesn't take away from their power level, this is just writers not caring about a Universe let alone a planet being crushed during every scuffle. We already got a taste of their true power, that's all we needed.

Agreed completely, although I can understand the other side's confusion as well; I don't think he's trying to be contrary for the sake of it, it's just that DBS did a bad job of portraying the scale of a universal battle tbh.

IMO it would have been way better if instead of inventing bogus mechanics to preserve the Earth, they had made it so that Goku and Beerus' battle carried them from galaxy to galaxy. But in the end, the message is the same, even if the writing isn't consistent.

I've yet to read a comic that has Superman outright losing to any street level characters.

That shit with baby Pan flying & carrying others in outer space... What did I just watch? 😂

More than that, Pilaf and gang can also breath in space too. Or maybe there's still air at such height?

It's turning into the reverse Axe Cop.

This is what you'd get when the diaper wearing kid becomes a diaper wearing senior.citizen. 🙂

Goku was pretty damn adorable in this episode.

I was actually feeling bad for him when King Kai was warning him to take it easy, or he may not be able to fight ever again or get stronger from training.

He is hitting middle age for a saiyan it seems finally. 😛 Not in chronological years, but it looks like kaioken really did a whammy on his body and maybe aged him prematurely.

And that scene with Goku, Chichi and Goten all sleeping together.. #relationshipgoals. Lol.

Okay so...seriously, they're just never gonna take a few hours out of their day to find the Dragon balls and wish Kai and his planet back? It's been years and they've used the balls multiple times since his death. It's kind of a dick move to let him stay dead like that.

That too.

Goku is a dick when it comes to treating King Kai.

Especially since Goku essentially killed him, and then has been destroying his planet on and off whenever he's back.

Do the others even know Goku did that to him? He doesn't exactly talk with many besides Goku.

I bet he keeps "fogetting" to ask Bulma to take care of it.

I'm not sure, but I figure Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha(I think all of them went, right?) spent a year training with him, they'd ask how he was doing now and then. Or they should at least.

I don't see him being less alive than before 🙂

The Dragonballs can't bring him back to life. They have a one year limit for that iirc. As for his planet it seems that it was brought back between Buu and Beerus so maybe he just goes through an appeals process or whatever to the Supreme Kai.

Better not turn into Pan wanking like GT 😬

As long as Pan herself is more enjoyable and not more than half the time insufferable like her GT self, I don't care/mind what she gets.
