Wow, that's painful.

I honestly like the new villain more than most of the other villains in DB history. And the cosmology so to speak has only been growing more and more in Super. It's far from perfect, but I wouldn't go as for as to say it's a steaming pile of shit.

Agreed. I wouldn't say say it's as good as Z, but it has become fun. Yes, the new villain's transformation will likely look dumb but he is frankly a far better villain than guys like Buu, the androids, or even Cell. Personally, I think Super is finally hitting it's stride. This is easily the best arc so far and the show has improved dramatically ever since the RoF adaptation.

In regards to the Rose transformation, why does everyone think it's stupid? Is it the name, the color pink itself, or the mere fact that yet another saiyan hair color has been introduced?

I actually went back and watched it.

Big waste of time. Adds nothing to the story, and anything it did, RoF did better.

Freeza going from "full tank" unstoppable to "empty" useless was a lot worse, imo. The movie made it more of a more realistic, gradual thing. The knife through the chest made Goku an active participant in wearing him down.

In the series Freeza just keeps kicking Goku's rear until an arbitrary moment, where his fist bounces harmlessly off Goku's head. (And how did Goku "knowing" about it even matter? It's not like he rope 'a doped him, he just kept getting battered and nearly KOed. Freeza would have run out of gas if Goku didn't figure it out.)

I actually liked the RoF arc better than the movie version for a number of different stuff; retconning Piccolo getting beat up by Koolaidman, finding a funny way to have Ginyu back, and other such things. The fight choreography between Goku & Frieza once both went in their top forms I also liked better than the movie, though there was still the occasional animation problems. I see your points too though.

Aye. Though Black, while indeed a good villain, am not sure I would say tops most of the villains of Z. The likelihood that his transformation may ruin him for me doesn't help either, but for those who feel he's one of the best villains in a long time since like even Frieza, more power to ya I guess.

All of the above, tbh.

😆

Sigh. At least nothing will be worse than this. Well, maybe the rainbow SSJ.

This is the best video from that channel regarding the series... ✅

The new form actually looks pretty... cool. From the little I saw, it looks way better than SSB IMO.

I liked this episode. SSR looks dope, and Daishinkan adds another layer between Goku and the top, as the former is stronger than even Whis.

I haven't seen it yet. 🙁

There's so much potential for more episodes, tbh. Goku has a loooooong way to go.

Also, what's this shit apparently that if the Kaioshin die, the God of Destruction also dies?

Just read the last few pages. Suffice to say: I'm glad I dropped Super after the RoF retelling. Sounds like it has become embarrassingly terrible at this point.

Way to take a steaming shit on longtime fans, Akira. 👇

I personally think it's not embarrassingly terrible. Just average and still enjoyable. IMO Black Goku arc has the most serious storyline in Super. Though, some things will probably make you confused.

Well, they took in this direction... creator dies, destructor dies. SSR looks good.

Tbh SSJ Rose doesnt look that bad still the idea is meh...

So apparently Whis "doesn't even reach the feet" of Daishinkan. Dudes one of the "5 strongest in all the universes."

And Zeno is a child who hates his adult/incredibly serious subordinates. I didn't like how Goku got a button that allows him to summon Zeno-Sama at any given time.

Maybe those of you who still watch DBS can help me out. Who are the top 10 most powerful characters in the franchise currently?

I know Zeno is #1. I know Dai-Shinkan is *somewhere* in the top 5 most powerful beings in the multiverse, and vastly beyond Whis -- so as of right now, it's probably safe to put him in the #2 slot.

...But what other characters round-out the top 10?

That we know of?

Vados, Whis, and probably Beerus. Zeno's two guards probably also fall somewhere in there but it's hard to say.

Yeah. Out of those who have been revealed so far, which characters makes up the top 10? A list would be awesome.

Off the top of my head:

1. Zeno King
2. Daishinkan
3. Vados
4. Whis
5. Beerus
6. Champa
7. Hit
8. Goku
9. Vegeta
10. Frieza

I expect Black will find his way on to that list soon though.

Agreed. Seems like Black will end up around Goku's level. Maybe a bit above, depending how far Tori decides to take this Rose transformation.
