Back on topic, wtf they are drinking that made them think SSJ Pink is a good idea... lol...

I haven't watched in a while.

Last episode I saw was Vegeta's powers getting absorbed by that purple water shit and the doppleganger was going to fight Goku in the next episode.

Anyone have a brief rundown on what has happened since then?

I read something about a pink super saiyan now...?

Rose is its official name. But yeah, it looks terrible.

Saw some leaked pics of it, and yeaaah, it definitely ruins Black's image for me. It's been an otherwise decent arc so far (which for Super is still progress), so I hope the last fights with Black make up for that travesty transformation.

Vegeta beat the shit out of Trunks. Right after Trunks asked him to go SSJ3, just like Goku did.

Best episode in awhile. 🙂

Just read the last few pages. Suffice to say: I'm glad I dropped Super after the RoF retelling. Sounds like it has become embarrassingly terrible at this point.

I actually went back and watched it.

Big waste of time. Adds nothing to the story, and anything it did, RoF did better.

Freeza going from "full tank" unstoppable to "empty" useless was a lot worse, imo. The movie made it more of a more realistic, gradual thing. The knife through the chest made Goku an active participant in wearing him down.

In the series Freeza just keeps kicking Goku's rear until an arbitrary moment, where his fist bounces harmlessly off Goku's head. (And how did Goku "knowing" about it even matter? It's not like he rope 'a doped him, he just kept getting battered and nearly KOed. Freeza would have run out of gas if Goku didn't figure it out.)

Not for all. For me, Super is better than Z and original series.

I honestly like the new villain more than most of the other villains in DB history. And the cosmology so to speak has only been growing more and more in Super. It's far from perfect, but I wouldn't go as for as to say it's a steaming pile of shit.

If it wasn't obvious this is a cash grab early in the project, between the bad art and obvious padding out of episodes (Seriously, it's up there with Yugioh)..

IMO, the improvents in the animation only took it from utter garbage to barely passable. The fight scenes, one of the big attractions of DBZ, are on par to WORSE then GT. And nowhere near Z's peak.
