One thing I liked about fusion:

Big Bang Kamehameha.

Otherwise gotta agree on that.

Like the one SSJ4 Gogeta used against Omega Shenron or something else?

There were always translation errors concerning that ultimate attack, iirc.

Yup.
Looks much better in the games though...

I don't get what the problem is. Trunks absorbed the power within himself and killed a being who first lost his speed and second, wasn't immortal anymore. Vegeto did exactly what he was meant to do, beat the hell out of Zamasu.

With that said, Trunks received a huge power boost. Trunks then received another amp via Goku and Vegeta transferring their energy into him. He then received another boost via the spirit bomb. That's more than enough to get the job done. I don't know what kind of training Vegeta put Trunks through (you don't know either) but as shown, it paid off. This doesn't include the rest of the amps he received. How about you all just enjoy the show and stop trying to dissect everything that happens. The episode was good but you all are putting too much time into figuring out the why's instead of taking the time of enjoying the show.

I never seen a bunch like you all.

For once you are right.👆

Phuck Goku...Trunks handled things like a baws.

So this was lame but he at least someone other than Goku got to save the day.

Speaking of Trunks, this guy got spontaneous power boost throughout the fight, learned the Mafuba on his first try, and somehow did the spirit bomb/sword even though it was never mentioned how Trunks learned the spirit bomb in the first place. Oh and wouldn't the recton to the Potara earring create plotholes where none previously existed?

I guess I can only hope that Trunks gets to exit DBS on a high note and neither Toriyama or Toei ever try to touch him again less he be turned into another Gohan.

Lame isn't the word.

This may go down in history as the worst anime series ever made.

That's wasn't the spirit bomb though and Trunks was more surprised at doing this than we were. At the end of the day it was called plot. Don't know why all of this is surprising to you all. Huge boosts is common in DBZ. Frieza was 100 to thousands of times more powerful than Goku but Goku received a boost that took him too and above Frieza levels.

Vegeta was the same. He was far below Goku level and received a boost that took him above the likes of Goku at Super Saiyan level. This was all due to rage. Trunks was already super Saiyan 2. Then he went through training with a God that does not believe in holding back. He then received a rage boost that had him shaking the city while walking. He then received another boost when he seen his dad hurt and went into another rage. He then received another boost from Absorbing the energy of everyone around him. He then received another boost from 2 Super Saiyan gods transferring their energy into him. What more do you need?

Boosts coming out of no where is common in DBZ. If anything, Kid Gohan received the biggest boost in the show. Capable of hurting Radditz when his power level was double digits. Capable of going fist cuff with final form Frieza when before hand, he was a weakling to the other Friezas. Surpassed Cell who was leagues above him before hitting Super Saiyan 2. No one questioned that though.

tl;dr version: DBS is stupid, and I'm in denial.

Animation was pretty dope and the episode was hype as all hell. I'm willing to sit through and watch the arc now.

Agreed.

besides people crying about Vegito need to get over it.Vegito had a lot of spotlight against Buu. Genki Dama Sword is Epic Stuff and I'm glad Trunks saved the day.

This is the year of Brexit, Trump, and Dragon Ball Super.

Dicaprio ****ed everything up when he won the oscar.

Space and Time continuum was broken

The finale was good. Vegito's part was ripped right out of GT, obviously, and the potera limit was out of left field considering neither the younger nor older kaioshin said anything about it.

Basically, everything leading up to it was a gigantic waste of time, and didn't even give a hint of setting up the plot twist or really add anything to the story. And didn't even feel like Dragon Ball, it felt like another anime (Akira and Slayers, maybe?)

But yeah, genkai dama sword for the win.

Then stop watching the show so you can stop crying in this thread like a female. We understood a long time ago you don't like the show, how many more times do you want us to know. Save your typing energy and post in Superman threads so that the ones that do enjoy the show can have something positive to come in here to talk about. It's like listening to a 30 yr old woman cry about her cycle being late. Stop derailing the thread.

Did they ever explain why Future Trunk's hair turned blue?

Nosir. Just one more thing we're supposed to ignore.

Obvious answer is, they just wanted to distinguish him from chibi Trunks, so why not?

yeah that is what I was thinking, but its still like...not necessary imo.

But not that bad lol.

I just don't like how he looks. Mirai Trunks looked so much cooler in the Cell Saga. Older too. Oh well.

The only problem people had with Vegito (or at least me) was how they retconned the time in which the fusion's able to stay together. Elder Kai said potaras were infinite, nothing about the effect applying only to Kai's. Was worth it for Trunks' triumph though, yeah.

And glad you decided to check out this arc. I know you'll enjoy it.

I guess they had to find a reason to give on Vegeta and Goku separating. I don't see anything wrong with it. It's better that way so that we don't have to see Vegito throughout Super.
