I hope Caulifla is gonna be awesome and not just useless joke. Since it's the part I've been waiting for haha.
I don't think Gohan is going to surpass Vegeta and Goku even though the final two sagas of Z made him. He's not gonna go train with Whis, and he will go back to being a scholar. He won't even enter the next martial arts tournament in 4 years.

If he takes it seriously, he is also surpassing kaio-ken. Gohan just has that in him.
But he is of course probably returning to his nerdy days.

Kinda glad it turned out Caulifla (what is that supposed to be named after, in relation in to other Saiyan names?) was from universe 6; a strong Saiyan from there to pick up for Cabba's slack, and does away with the notion that Hit's the only worthwhile fighter from U6.
Perhaps he will become the strongest for a time if that's how they write it, but you know he'll just get burned out again afterward and then eventually surpassed like the times before. I like at least how Piccolo's trying to teach him not to over-rely on his power, since like he said, Gohan getting drunk on his power was why Super Buu was able to make a comeback and then later got absorbed by him. Same mistake he made against Cell, where the earth was almost destroyed. All the power in the multiverse doesn't mean a thing if his carelessness leads to those kind of consequences, so I hope he learns accordingly.
