They should of gave the power boost to Yamcha. Gohan is kind of a given, he's always been this wellspring of limitless untapped potential, he's supposed to have no ceiling, he just would rather read books and pet his kid or whatever. Yamcha though, if the desert bandit got that power up, sure some people would be upset, but we need SSB level Wolf Attacks...it's what the quiet majority want, the infinite masses that are too silent to speak but their heart cries out for JUSTICE.

Only Goku or Jiren should really beat Hit.
People need to remember only Goku was smart enough to figure out how Hit's abilities/techniques work.
Jiren may be able to beat him outright depending on how beastly he is. But even at SSB x10, I don't think Goku can beat Hit if he didn't figure out he was hiding in another dimension in their rematch.
If Hit went for full-on vital/nerve point hits on Goku in kill mode, he could've taken Goku out before Goku figured out how to attack him.
You could argue that Vegeta now knows Hit's tricks, but that doesn't guarantee Vegeta would win.
Two reasons:
1. Goku only stalemated Hit in their rematch (AND Hit didn't use time skip IIRC). Given this SSB drains energy BS that we are seeing lately, if they continued to fight, possibly Hit would outlast him.
2. Hit could have improved over time. We know he boosted his time skip ability significantly in a very short amount of time.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Hit had some other special time/dimension abilities up his sleeve.

Yamcha, Tien and Krillin should absurdly be more powerful than Roshi, no matter of Roshi secret training. Yamcha has also far more experience against really powerful opponents, even beating them (those from Namek saga) in Cell saga he further increased his power. At least it should be still considered that he is really powerful human, far more than Roshi. What happened with Roshi is the worst that has ever happened in DB universe.

Goku got to observe Hit in action, and Vegeta was drained from fighting two match's prior and using the stamina draining blue form.
Manga even made the point Vegeta would have won, and anime and manga are based off the same script. Vegeta likely defeats Hit now.
It's not like Hit is an impossible, unbeatable opponent, like Superman.
Oh yeah, fair enough on that. I agree Vegeta could beat Hit if he played his cards right.
Just don't like or agree with the idea of Hit being a scrub in this tournament of power who'll go down easily by some lame tactic like this:
