Regardless of who, I'd still like an actual female SSJ for some variety. Guess there's no possible options besides Pan or Bulla though.
A relevant female would be nice... Though at this point it seems like the only chance of that is if the next major villain ends up being female. /shrug

I was gonna ask you the same thing, frankly.

Faulconer has all of 3 tracks that still hold up in any capacity as far I'm concerned. They fit for the scenes in question usually, but on their own merits, they're very repetitive if not bland songs. And anything relating to the use of a xylophone in his score was ****ing cringeworthy.

Oh f.uck this post so hard. (much love for you otherwise though)

The Japanese OST was flat out GARBAGE for the most part. (outside of the iconic chala head chala and we gotta power intros)

They were slow paced, out of sync with the action, flat out boring, and they all sounded the same. They may have used instruments but it sounded like compositions from low rent 60s kung fu movies. They fit ok for Dragon Ball, but not at all for Dragon Ball Z.

They fit for the context only? Bullshit. I can listen to the entirety of Faulconer's soundtrack on my phone and not even be thinking about Dragon Ball Z at all. I listen to his tracks for how awesome they sound

Truly, DBZ would have been a much lesser experience in the states if not for his iconic, and highly varied soundtrack.

Yeah, I have zero respect for the Japanese OST. None.

YouTube video

Even minor characters like Nail got great attention paid to for his theme, matching up perfectly with his personality. This shit is so ethereal.

The Jap themes are horrendous... They're terrible in every way imaginable. Borderline unlistenable.

Add the phucking unbearable Japanese voices to that and it`s just a far worse experience all around 👆

If you don't like it, don't watch it~

Its really not a good thing at all that this sentence has become the rallying cry for the DBS defenders.

Only works if you qualify me as a defender. Right now I don't care for this show. Animation is meh and the pacing is egregiously slow. The DB manga is super fast but Super is chugging along at a snails pace. Even just comparing it to the BoG movie Super is slow. Now DBS the manga is another story entirely.

My comment was directed at BG, who has a pretty hefty bias against DB to begin with(Goku can't even island bust in his eyes) and his lame comment about Videl becoming Super Videl(a one time thing for the purpose of an interesting shot-how terrible).

I mostly just watch Super to see how they do things differently from the DBS manga.

As a whole, the DBS anime has been pretty shitty thus far, imo. The manga is much, much better... It has actually been quite enjoyable.

That being said, it is very irritating when people come out of the woodwork just to rant about how much they hate DBZ in this thread. It's even more irritating when calling those people out on their bullshit gains one the label of a "defender" or "fanboy" or "wanker". Shows you how immature this forum is in general.

DBS's manga seems like it's rushing through the plot to me. I mean it's just snapping through scenes and making odd transitions to move along faster.

I don't mind Beerus spanking SSJ3 Gotenks though. /tehee

It's paced more like the old DBZ manga was: short, sweet, and to the point. Personally, I like it, but I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

But yeah, there's not much of a grey area here. The manga's pace is almost too fast; the anime's pace is painfully slow.

I wonder if Lady Whis will be on par with Whis power Level wise as well as Fat Beerus to Beerus.

Also didnt Whis say something in Battle of the Gods about there being much more powerful beings in other dimensions than himself?

The DBS manga implied that Champa and Fem-Whis are significantly weaker than Beerus/Whis(to the point that the former feared a confrontation with the latter.) We'll see how the anime depicts them...

Yeah, in the English-dub of BoG, Beerus stated that there might be even more powerful beings than himself and Whis in the other universes.

Alright. Cool 👆

Seems like some of worst things i can think that can happen were right.

Putting two movies into anime arcs can be really an bad idea. To the point people may just want to just go to the Universe 6 Arc instead.

Sigh, So much for being an Super series....

That music alone leaves me to assume the entire post was sarcastic, not even counting that faulconer's tracks had too much of a tendency to extend themselves in the same way as that video. Bear in mind, I'm mostly referring to scenes in Kai. In my opinion, Faulconer never held a candle to "Tears of Sorrow", "Formidable Warrior" or "The Ebb and the Flow"

The thing that is bullshit to me is one cant even make a criticism about the show without getting all the "its DBZ just enjoy it" or "be bappy were getting DB back at all" or numerous other excuses when most of us have been DBZ fans since before most of them were potty trained. To be fair its not as much like that here but other places ive posted on.

Oh yeah, I agree there.

I've been a fan of DBZ for a long, long time, but I'll be the first to admit that this show is lacking tremendously across the board. Granted, I'm still optimistic at the thought of the Z Fighters exploring the multiverse, but I can totally understand why DBS hasn't been well-received thus far. They desperately need to pick up the pace.

The tards who hate just to hate is what I find laughably pathetic.

There was no sarcasm anywhere.

The soundtrack in Kai is garbage too. It was one Japanese soundtrack replacing an equally shitty Japanese soundtrack.

I have no idea what songs those are, but I'm sure they suck compared to Faulconer's work.

Kinda makes me wish the manga was canon over the show...
