I completely disagree. Manga Zeno is way more entertaining.
I don't mean as a character.. I mean as a person. lol Anime Zeno could be seen as guided by Grand Priest, but manga Zeno is just savage and don't care about life.

Sigh*... Where was this even mentioned? Zeno was entertained at all by the Gods fight. He was bored. Even mentions them fighting wildly and being all over the place during that fight. Are you all reading something different than what I read?

Question. Did you enjoy the Manga showing of the Gods fight?

😕 It was mentioned right when Grand Priest stopped the match AND the reason GP stopped teh match. Zeno WAS entertained by Toppo vs Gokou because he could actually tell what was going on. It's the translation on the official Viz website..so

And I enjoyed both of the fights. Heck I enjoy the manga immensely. lol

That's all I wanted to know. It's good seeing you enjoying something.

😆 I've always said I enjoyed the manga. Cause the issues I have with the anime, don't exist in the manga.

"Aren't you the second fiddle too?" XD Toppo knows how to his Vegeta where it hurts most..

I actually really liked this episode. And Vegeta's plans were finally stated...which were pretty much what everyone assumed they'd be anyway.

Interesting to note in the manga how Gin and Ivan were in awe of SSJG Goku, in that a mortal could attain that degree of power. Ivan even notes that SSJG Goku and Toppo were "fighting at the level of us Gods." While I obviously don't think SSJG Goku is even close to 100% Beerus, I think this goes to show that the top 4 universes don't exactly have many, if any SSJG-tier mortals, much less someone like Jiren, (who I'd argue surpasses all the Gods of Destruction).

Heles was also surprised. I doubt many universes have mortals that can use God Ki. Toppo probably only does because he's about to be the next G.O.D. So Goku and Vegeta are probably the rarity from any universe. And Hit never really stood a chance against Goku in the manga.

Yeah that burn was great. Best part of the episode.

I loved Freiza in the episode. He was absolutely merciless. Also Cabba is clearly the Universe 6 version of Vegeta. He even shouts "Nani!" like Vegeta.

Yeah, Toppo is closing in on being the next GoD. And to be fair to Hit, we know he had to hold back tremendously against Goku in the U6 tournament. That said, yeah, SSJB Goku >> Hit in the context of a tournament, in the manga. I suspect that Hit won't be giving Jiren any sort of fight in the manga, unless there's specific circumstances that allow for such an event to take place.

I just hope Toppo doesn't get shafted in the ToP. It looks like he's gonna get some time to further display his greatness against Vegeta, tho. 🙂

It's cause he's a Vegeta fanboy. I can't wait for Vegeta to meet the other king of saiyans and be like.. My throne now get out.

My boy Frieza took out that pesky Cabba. Good riddance. Am rooting for the evil emperor!

So I guess it’s more or less expected for the remaining U6 saiyans to go down the same way? i.e. Goku softens them up in the rematch and then Frieza comes out of nowhere and cheapshots them/confronts them when they’re exhausted.

I think it's likely.

Hold on just a moment, there. Try to recall that even in the manga, Hit was a monstrous anomaly who could bring to bear enough power to rival SSG Goku without godly ki. The reason he wasn't able to use that strength continuously was because he never trained, never needing to exert himself to complete any of his tasks as an assassin in U6. It's literally the same case as with Frieza, except he's already in that realm to begin with. If he started training--and I suspect he would after losing to Goku--he should easily be able to become highly relevant again in the manga.

Yes, but Goku's been training right along with him. Hell in the anime, Goku improved considerably more than Hit did since the U6 tournament.

Where is it implied in the manga that Hit has never trained a day in his life? Again, I think the manga makes it clear that Hit's true power lies in his being allowed to use assassination techniques. The anime kind of shits on that, but I'd argue the manga didn't.

Hit will be relevant in the tournament, but I don't think he'll give Jiren a (considerably) better fight than Mastered SSJB Goku, like he did in the anime.

I'm actually waiting for Kale to ragestomp Freeza....but that's just me... Cause you know he will go after Caulifla first..

If anything that struck me more as them realizing they ****ed up with Hit's power scaling in the U6 tournament and retconned him to Toyotaro-esque PL, honestly.

When he unleashes his full power, he says he can only maintain it for a few seconds because he wasn't used to pushing himself to the limit.

He may if he gets all the broken hax abilities they gave him in the anime. (Hopefully attributed to training/development this time, instead of intangibility and invisible blasts somehow being "killing" techniques that were too dangerous for the U6 tournament 😂 )

Gohan is looking extremely weak in this tournament. I'm surprised he is still in the ring. He needs to do more than what he is currently doing.

1. Dunno. Goku does note when he fights Hit the 2nd time that he's (Hit) gotten considerably stronger since the U6 tournament. I just think that the assload of zenkai's and training Goku got since the U6 tournament more than made up for Hit's own improvement.

2. Hmm, that's fair. It is a bit similar to Golden Frieza.

3. Regardless, i still think Hit will have to get ridiculously stronger in the manga in order to give Jiren as good of a fight in the manga as he did in the anime. Something I'm not sure they'll do, but you never know with this franchise.

Because Gohan is extremely weak. 🙂

Cabba goes SSJ and SSJ2 with less effort then Gohan. 😂
