I want Dragon Ball to continue pass the final ending where Uub showed up. I don't mind the cluster **** we currently have with super. I'm just going to ignore the shit content and enjoy the good parts of DB. 😮‍💨

I wonder what horrors has Forn done to Galan?

I've gotten all of the fts I need.

Enjoyment of a series contingent on feat mining. The sort of foolish admission I'd expect from you. 😆

I feel like DBS is leaving out lot of lot points behind.

Like what happened to the angels from U13-18? Who are the top 5 strongest fighters in the multiverse? Gohan's never seen ultimate from? etc.

While i'm sad that it's ending. Least it is for the best so that Tori should be given a break.

I've thought about that as well.

It is entirely possible(and moreover likely) than Zen-Oh also erased the Guide Angels when he erased those 6 universes . After all, it was stated that he destroyed them in a fit of anger -- and if Zen-Oh was angry, I don't see him caring about the Angels. /shrug

Side note: It's confirmed in the manga that Beerus' hakai works the same as it does in the anime. Frieza doesn't want to hold hands with Goku, but Beerus says, "Do as he says! Or I will destroy you along with your soul so that you will never come back!"

Another side note: Goku says that he wasn't really going all out against Toppo. I guess that confirms Mastered SSJB Goku > Toppo...and the latter is apparently primed to become the hakaishin of U11 "any day now," (as is presumably evidenced by the episode 125-equivalent in the manga).

Personally, I'm starting to doubt that Jiren is going to be oneshotting Mastered SSJB Goku in the manga...which would bring his superiority to Beerus into question. Only time will tell, though.

Thank the lord that Caulifla and Kale weren't able to magically access their SSJ forms after a few seconds of 'training' with Cabba, solely by harnessing a "tingly feeling in their backs". That shit was SO f*cking stupid in the anime... Talk about cheapening a transformation. 👇

I'm also glad the manga referenced Freeza becoming substantially more powerful since RoF, due to his constant image training in Hell.

...And on that note, it's always nice to see the events of RoF once again summarized in manga canon. 👆

The way Goten and kid Trunks first got SSJ on a whim I still find just as bad or worse than the back tingling explanation, but yeah, was obvious they weren't gonna go there again in the manga. lol

Since it wasn't brought up yet again, I imagine the untimely passing of Bulma's Japanese VA could've effected plans for the future of the show too (to a certain point), regardless of whether they were initially gonna continue after the ToP or not.

Toppoless Toppo.....

Gohan went out like a chum.....I mean champ.

Frieza's trapwires were damn cool.

Spoiler:
Toppo is emitting the same energy Beerus does when he gets angry. Guy is a bonafide God of Destruction.

Episode 124-

Spoiler:

*So SSB+KK Goku and ASSB Vegeta are doing pretty well against Jiren all things considered. But he is still easily parrying all of their attacks, and utterly tanked a Kamehameha+Final Flash w/o even blocking/flinching.

*Dyspo impressed the hell out of me this ep. He was thrashing even Golden Freeza, who is every bit the equal of base SSB Goku. Dyspo is also so fast that not even Zen-Ohs' GodPads(which were created by the Daishinkan himself) could visibly track his movements, lol.

*Gohan essentially sacrificed himself so that Freeza could eliminate Dyspo... So Gohan and Dyspo are BOTH out of the Tournament now, which is a real shame. I would have loved to see Gohan do...you know...SOMETHING of note during this arc. Such a waste.

...Who would've guessed that #17 would outlast Gohan, lol!? Crazy.

In the preview for next week's episode, it certainly looks like Toppo obtains the aura of a legit Hakaishin:

Called it. 👆

So the episode was great! Though are people STILL gonna lowball Dyspo?

There's really no way to intelligibly lowball Dyspo at this point, tbh. The dude is undoubtedly SSB-tier.

It seems the 3 top Pride Troopers can't be taken out by standard means, so tricks/sneak attacks have to be involved if this episode and the next episode are any indication since Freiza is gonna try to sneak attack Toppo.

That said if correct, then Goku and Vegeta aren't gonna be able to just power through Jiren as they are which...as they are, they still aren't doing anything.

Goku: "Toppo sure looks like a God of Destruction!"

Spoiler:
Gohan definitely could've done something more of note, but I'm not particularly mad with how he went down. Like at least that it was a reference to how beginning of Z Goku had to hold down Raditz for them to win.

Are people going to insist light speed is normal for Dragon Ball?

The answer is yes, to both questions.

Well Dyspo has God tier power + FTL speed, Toppo is about to become a legit Hakaishin by the looks of the preview, and peak Jiren is likely well beyond Hakaishin-level.

The only real chance for U7 at this point is UI Goku... Though it's worth pointing out that they technically don't even need to eliminate Jiren, per se -- U7 can win just by having more people left on the field when the time's up.

On a related note: I'm also hoping that either ASSB Vegeta or SSB+KK Goku fights Hakaishin-Toppo at some point, because that'll help put their powers(and subsequently Jiren's) into much better perspective.

My favorite episode in a long time. Very enjoyable and despite my initial misgivings in regards to the spoilers, this was a fitting end for Gohan. True, I'd rather he have lived up to his promise to surpass SSB in his own way, but this was a fine end on his part and perhaps the first instance of a major victory without getting drunk on his power. Best of all, the victory came down to strategy as opposed to brute force, which is always a plus on this show.

I suspect Frieza put Gohan in that position intentionally and didn't run out of stamina, but that's a different story! 👆
