So yeah, Moro is stacked:

With a gesture he absorbs absolutely ALL life on an entire planet and consumes it.
I'm liking the premise of this arc so far. A team-up with the Galactic Patrol against a powerful mage with esoteric abilities is a welcome change of pace from the whole tournament thing, imo.
A few more takeaways from chapter 43...
When Moro was rampaging the first time(10 million years ago), he was responsible for the extinction of 320 planets and the destruction of a star system:

DaiKaioshin used his "God Power" to seal Moro's magic away. Apparently this technique was far too dangerous to teach to anyone else:

It required most of DaiKaioshin's Godly Power to defeat Moro:

5 million years AFTER Moro was beaten is when DaiKaioshin was absorbed by Boo:

Goku states there are still beings more powerful than he and Vegeta in other universes, and also references Broly:

Vegeta states that he can't sense Merus' ki, and also states that Merus was legitimately fast/agile enough to get the drop on he and Goku in the last chapter:

Merus is so fast that Vegeta cannot track his movements, even when he's specifically watching him:

We recently learned this in the Broly movie, but Vegeta's name is actually "Vegeta IV":

Merus states that Moro's power is limitless, and is growing stronger by the minute:

This was my favorite chapter in a LONG time. 👆

Look at this:
Jaco, who used to fear Saiyans because they were far too powerful for him to handle, is casually lifting with one hand the whole cargo containing the mineral Blue Aurum.
Considering that real-life minerals range in density between a low end of around 2000 kg/m^3 (2 tons per cubic meter) and a high end of around 22000 kg/m^3 (22 tons per cubic meter), it's obvious that in that picture Jaco was lifting something like literally thousands of tons with one hand, without breaking a sweat.
Again, consider that Jaco admitted to fear the Saiyans (who on avearge had a battle power below the 10 thousands mark in their days) and would be an absolute weakling even by the standards of the Saiyan Saga.
So there were no announcements at Jump Festa about the anime's continuation. Some are now speculating that the announcement will take place after the Broly film's international release, at a panel in late January/February. We'll see.
We did get this message from Toriyama, though:

"For me personally, Dragon Ball is nothing but fighting, which to be perfectly frank, isn't something I like all that much..."
Toriyama literally gives no shits about DB, lol. Makes it even funnier when geeks like me try to dissect the story in search of some 'deeper meaning'. 👆
