Looks like a video game, and a poorly animated one at that.

Tbh, I wasn't sold on this film to begin with from the initial details. I just don't care much for the occasional slice of life angle with Dragon Ball, and the Pan focus always bores me.

And yeah, I don't know why it looks like some weird video game graphics instead of anime. Huge step down from DBS Broly, although looks like he may appear in this.

Tbf, I remember when the original trailers for the Broly film were released, the animation looked corny and video-gamey as well, but was ultimately polished in the final release.

Regardless, based on what I've seen/heard about this film's plot thus far, I'm not overly excited about it, to say the least... Only thing that really interests me is that it looks like Goku and and Broly are sparring on Beerus's world in the trailer:

However, I don't think they'll play any major role in this movie at all, as it's supposed to be geared around the secondary characters and whatnot.

Only other thing that mildly intrigues me is to see how powerful the Red Ribbon Army's androids are now.

If Pan becomes ssj in that like people are saying might happen, she will be the youngest cause it takes place the same year as the EoZ so she's what 4?

Oh I'm sure she'll unlock Super Saiyan in this.

...But do we actually know how old Goten and Trunks were when they originally went SS?

I suppose the ChiChi seeing Goten go ssj first time was filler, so I suppose we don't. But I can't imagine it had been that long. I can't imagine Trunks and Goten being off alone when they were 4/5 when they lived so far apart.

Besides the ongoing manga, nope. Just the movie that's probably retconning EoZ.

That's going to have no appearances by Goten and Trunks, or have them the same age as Pan.

So you mean even more retcons will be added to Dragon Ball Super?.

Dragonball Super was one big retcon. Cause Gokou hadn't seen Bulma in like 10 years.

There are people already thinking Bardock went super saiyan to defeat Gas the first time... instead of just thinking Bardock is just that beastly.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if it were revealed that Bardock 'blinked' into SS long enough to one or two shot Gas.

Dimestore dragon balls making you the strongest is kind of a retcon in and of itself. Would have been really handy to use that trick for the ToP, that's for sure.

And how far can "strongest plus one" keep going?

That's what I find annoying as well... These relative nobodies being able to become "the strongest" on a whim.

Granolah doing it? Okay, I can accept that for plot reasons. But now Gas is stronger than Granolah simply because his wish is more recent? Meh.

All I'm really curious about at this point is where they'll go with OG-73.

Even as a Bardock fan, I don't know how to feel about any of this. Guess there's just certain kinds of shoehorned fanservice that don't get much a reaction out of me at all at a certain point.
