I think Vegeta doing so poorly in the Gravity Room could be chalked up to him having not trained in a while(probably cause he's sad that Goku is better than him) and thus being thrown off by the suddenness of how tough it was. 150 times gravity is as much a endurance feat as it is a strength one.
I mean 10x gravity should be nothing to Goku but he always trains at a relaxing, rather healthy rate whereas Vegeta constantly strains his body all the time, best seen with how they approached Cell.
Man Beerus is such a brutal guy. I love it.
Base Vegeta was training in, what? 300-400G prior to the Android saga?
Given that his power has increased astronomically since then, 150G really shouldn't have much of an effect on him anymore, imo. I mean, he was completely taxed after that training session... And it only lasted about 20 seconds.
That's f*cking horrible, tbh. srsly

Course this is also Akira Toriyama... he doesn't remember half of what he wrote usually. I mean Goku is back, but Vegeta is just now doing the promise he made to Trunks in the gravity room when to get Trunks to stop crying he said they were going then and there.
In the manga, Vegeta had Bulma's father make him a 300G training room:
A few pages later, we were shown a single panel of him training there:
...And that was 3 years prior to the Android saga. So his base PL was, what? In the low millions? He's improved by several orders of magnitude since then, so HALF that amount of gravity shouldn't really tax him at all... Let alone tax him in a mere 20 seconds, lol.
What's really interesting in base Goku casually lifting thousand of tons at 10G is that, as reported by the official SEG, in DBZ meditation is used in order to enhance Ki while this kind of training (with weigths and gravitational force) is meant to specifically increase the physical strength.
But when Goku fights, his Ki enhances his physical strength even more, so we have to make distinctions:
- What base Goku can lift during training sessions with physical strength alone (this case).
- What full power (with Ki) base Goku could lift.
- What Ssj Goku could lift.
- What Ssj2 Goku could lift.
- What Ssj3 Goku could lift.
- What SSGSS Goku could lift (a lot, by the way).
As reported in the SEG, battle power is given by the combination of physical abilities and Ki, and each Ssj transformation increases both the physical strength and the Ki output (and thus, globally, the battle power) of a warrior.
In a nuthsell: if SSGSS Goku used all his battle power output to lift something, that would be A LOT.
Wish that guy that Beerus fought for the Dinosaur fought someone else. Like another Z fighter. That guy seemed beastly. Want to know where he is at power wise. Also, can't believe people did not find the Beerus showing of him destroying a planet with an attack smaller than a marble, interesting. That's a huge display of power imo.

Um... That guy was probably about average Namekian level. His best feat is killing a dragon.
Bills toyed with him, before he torched him with his own attack.
And yes, it was impressive, but not when compared to other feats we've seen from Bills. He's destroyed planets by lightly touching them with his index finger. A marble sized ki blast seems to be overdoing it for him, honestly.
Originally posted by carver9That creature was definitely sub-Freeza level, imo. As of BoG(which takes place after these first few episodes of Super), Beerus still considered beating Freeza a sign of abnormally high power--and that 4-armed red dude left him thoroughly unimpressed.

Hype over DB Super. I like the colors. Not sure how I feel about Vegeta reverting back to his old obsession. Then again I guess old habits die hard, especially for saiyans and especially for those 2 and their storied rivalry. Was odd seeing Vegeta get worn out so fast. Maybe he did let go and stopped training for good.
