I don't mind though. Just like how it doesn't make sense for Gohan to train because he doesn't like it, it wouldn't make sense for Vegeta to stop because he genuinely loves fighting. The important thing is that it is now a much more friendly competition instead of the "I will legitimately turn evil if it gets you to fight me" stuff he did during his mid-life crisis in the Buu Arc.

Vegeta's grown up. I'm proud of the little guy.

This episode made me realize that between BOG and this new series, Akira is really playing up the raw strength of Goku in ways we never really saw before.

The feat where Beerus got to the planet that was pretty far away very quickly.

Question, can Beerus not sense ki, or is he not very good at it? I haven't seen BoG in some time. I just read the new chapter and he seems unaware that Goku was hiding power and later, unaware that Goku was at his limit.

Goku could read powers but was unable to feel how Frieza would power up between transformations. You cannot really predict the outcome of those.

So is this as stated, a alternate universe? Or pre BOG?
