How did you feel about H.O.T. losing all his hype?

Eh. It was a statement by a combat designer, so not overly reliable. lol

True, but I believe Orgus Din's Ghost aided him or something? And it seems that Vitiate's mental influence is just a one-time effect anyway.

I've seen nothing indicating Orgus helped him. He doesn't just chill out in the Hero's head to zap away bad influences, it was a one time thing where he woke her up enough so that she could free herself. Also naw, there's no reason Vitiate's thing is one-time other than if you can break free of his control once well you can clearly do it again.

True enough.

For Orgus, I can't remember what the point was about him helping the Knight in last Act.

Orgus did not make an appearance in act 3.

Orgus appeared to the HoT at the very end of Act II, as a Force Ghost. He speaks to them and tells them to throw off the Emperor's Mind Domination.

Orgus protecting the HoT from mind control after that is something people like Legend flat out made up.

We can use a very logical A>B>C argument that would determine how good a duelist Hero is. It goes:

Malgus and Satele battled twice, with Malgus defeating her in both occasions. However, we can see their skill levels are similar, and it's not an easy duel for Malgus (Hope trailer). Satele acknowledges the Hero to be the greatest and 'the most powerful warrior' in the entire Order, herself included, even before Chapter 3 (in which he grows even more powerful). That would mean the Hero is at least equal to Hope Malgus in terms of raw power and skill, considering he's better than the Satele he faced.

Also, the Emperor himself does say Hero is 'immensely powerful'. I seriously doubt Vitiate gave out compliments to Sith or Jedi who aren't. He actually considered Hero a threat even before he entered his weakened state in which he was soundly defeated.

And Revan Force-pushing and ragdolling protag isn't that impressive considering the protag could be non-Force sensitive.

So he is better than Hope Malgus. Ok. Still not that impressed.

He is better or equal to Hope Malgus as of Chapter 2. He grows more powerful after that.
