Nah, I think it's from one of the young adult books that came out a few years back. I've seen the quote fluttering around CV. I'll see if I can track it down for you.

Well the book apparently came out in 2008 and supposedly refers to the Legends Imperial Palace.

Yeah the Palace could hold 800 meter Star Destroyers in its docking bay.

The NJO source book (2002) says its three kilometers high and two square kilometers in area.

It could be like Bane's temple feat: cause enough structural damage and gravity and age will take care of the rest.

Vitiate destroyed that temple while massively drained from his ritual, exhausted from his fight and almost bisected though.

Could. Still doesn't say anything about actually destroying it though. You're making that part up entirely.
