Don't forget that Revan's goal was always to destroy the Sith and their Emperor--be it with the Star Forge or the Foundry or otherwise. So unless you've also decided that Darth Revan isn't a Sith, this argument is hardly viable.

And SOR Revan wasnt mind****ed by 300 years with Vitiate, and didn't play right into his hands?

If anything, Darth Revan was less affected by Vitiate than he was in SOR.

That was before the Foundry, let alone SoR, and the Exile said his strength was failing.

Failed, according to Revan. But frankly, it looked like a success to me. He was already teetering on the knife's edge during the Foundry arc, and then 'pon his defeat the Shadow of Revan literally expelled his redeemed alter ego and went right back to his roots. Revan was exactly what Vitiate wanted him to be, and did exactly what Vitiate wanted him to do both on the Foundry and on Yavin.

Darth Revan called himself a Sith Lord, took on an apprentice, created a Sith hologram and exalted the Sith ideology. SOR Revan doesn't do any of these things. He even says that Vitiate failed to turn him into Darth Revan...

Oh, he certainly has the raw power to be #1. He's lacking in a lot of ways, though; he can't conjure vehicles of mass destruction like Sidious can, nor could he cheat death at the hands of Vestara. Not to mention, the source of his power is also a pretty large weakness; perhaps with time he could have overcome it like Scourge did, but his pain and hunger severely hindered him when we saw him. If it had come to a fight, I have no doubt that Luke would have managed to beat him tbh.
