Said "bloody obvious" being that Iron Man is simply outclassed in every category, regardless of what tricks he can pull out of his ass, unless he has some kind of heavy automatic defenses or potent durability ignoring hax (none of which exists in the Avengers or Iron Man Trilogy), he doesn't so he loses

No they are not, the two times he took down a leviathan he had help from Ironman and Thor where is Thor took down three on his own and Ironman took down one on his own.

The only help he had from Ironman was Ironman stopping the back end from dropping on the team. Minus that, Hulk dropped one on his own.
