Gratz man! Have yet to go for it but will eventually.

THX.

Damn Dragonslayer Spear is a beast.
That rushing weapon art does insane damage in PVE in PVP it probably got nerfed.

So out of the 3 games which did you guys like the most?

Considering I spent around 1,400 hours in DS1 and DS2 (combined) it's hard to say. My initial reaction is that DS3 is probably the best crafted and generally most polished of the Dark Souls games. There are huge flaws with it though. Any covenant that isn't the Mound Makers or Sunbros is just bad. I still have yet to be summoned as a Blue Sentinel or a Darkmoon Blade; that really pisses me off. I have to subtract at least 1-2 points off the score for that alone.

Dark Souls 1 is still probably the best game out of the bunch.

Best NPCS, Best story, best level design, best covenants.

I think I like DS3's pvp the best so far. It's really solid and despite people talking about lag I feel it's the best it's ever been. And my thing in Souls games is pvp so that makes DS3 shine atm.

Imo without playing pvp in 1 and 2.

1 had the best boss designs 2 had the best "stuff" (better spells, infusions etc)
3 had the best boss battles.

Overall I think I like 3 the most.

Not an expert on ds though.

Well, the reason I have so many hours in the Souls games is because of pvp. To me there is no pvp better. It's so fun, especially when you find a look/build that works for you.

I feel that even though the covenants have taken a HUGE step down in quality in DS3, the pvp in general is better. At least the mechanics/feel of it. They could sure use some more diverse weapons though; ESPECIALLY great hammers from DS2. God I miss the Gyrm Great Hammer so badly.

That's one of the things DS2 did WAY better than DS1 or 3. It improved magic and pyromancy and had the BEST build diversity in not only pve but also pvp.

As I said, Blue Sentinels and Darkmoon Blades are literally broken right now. The covenants straight up do not work for a lot of people.

Aldrich's covenant is working fine.

Starting to get into pvp Im a tiny bit better now.
My connection is horrid thogh keep getting messages how laggy it is.....haermm

If you guys need some covenant items I can drop you dont know if I can share it though..

Dont have many since I need it for the items.

1 shackle
2 human dregs
3 proof
18 sunlight medal
2 wolf blood

Im lvl 200.

Lulz pvp is addicitive as hell.haermm
Beat like 30 guys today.
Even had a 7 win streak.😛

Had a hard time puting the game down.

I was like.
"Dont stop me now! Im having such a good time!"biscuits

So apparently poise is broken right now. As in, it is literally turned off for players. Only enemies benefit from it.

Glad I focused on Dex this time around then. Thats sad to hear though. Being an unbreakable tank got me through endgame DS1 bosses because I could literally just power through them, it was awesome.

Can someone give me some details on the dlcs?

I don't think there's any info on the dlc yet, other than that they are coming out late this year, and early next year.

Soul of Cinder was the hardest for me.

I got killed by that boss so many ****ing times.

So far Pontiff Sulyvahn and Abyss Watchers have been the hardest for me.

Honestly, it felt like Aldrich should be worshiping Sulyvahn. That guy was a beast.

Pope Sully wasn't particularly difficult for me, and the Abyss Watchers were honestly super ****ing easy, since I staggered them so easily with my broadsword.

Aldrich was easily the hardest boss for me, bizarrely so. No one else came close. It's his ****ing rain of arrows attack combined with spamming huge soul arrows.

Spoiler:
Also I was emotionally compromised because he killed my Dark Souls husbando.

Aldrich? Really?

Huh, I thought he was pitifully easy myself. Sure, he killed me once or twice, but I'm pretty awful at the game.

Comparatively, Pontiff Sulyvahn raped me. Repeatedly. Though I oddly found his first "form" to be far more difficult than his second. His second form, I felt, had smaller combos, easier attacks to dodge, and most importantly had a bigger lag between combos giving you more time to heal or attack.

Straight through, and on the firsf playthrough... Oh dear.

I don't think anyone could argue that the Nameless King was the most difficult with Sulyvhan taking the second spot.

Aldrich had one devastating attack; and once you knew how to deal with it he wasn't much of an issue. Abyss Watchers was super-easy. In the first phase you can simply wait them out by having them kill each other, all you really need is a decent shield, and in the second phase you would simply back-stab, follow up with a charged R2 and then rinse and repeat, and occasionally stun-locking him with R1😖. And Soul of Cinder was easy too, since he was slow, his combos were short and he was just as susceptible to stun-lock.
