Aldrich? Really?Huh, I thought he was pitifully easy myself. Sure, he killed me once or twice, but I'm pretty awful at the game.
Comparatively, Pontiff Sulyvahn raped me. Repeatedly. Though I oddly found his first "form" to be far more difficult than his second. His second form, I felt, had smaller combos, easier attacks to dodge, and most importantly had a bigger lag between combos giving you more time to heal or attack.
Aldrich's melee attacks were far more straightforward, and his rain of arrows spell is unblockable and barely dodgable.

I don't think anyone could argue that the Nameless King was the most difficult with Sulyvhan taking the second spot.Aldrich had one devastating attack; and once you knew how to deal with it he wasn't much of an issue. Abyss Watchers was super-easy. In the first phase you can simply wait them out by having them kill each other, all you really need is a decent shield, and in the second phase you would simply back-stab, follow up with a charged R2 and then rinse and repeat, and occasionally stun-locking him with R1😖. And Soul of Cinder was easy too, since he was slow, his combos were short and he was just as susceptible to stun-lock.

What about the Princes?
Originally posted by NemeBroI agree with this, for those exact reasons. F*ck that boss fight. I still feel like I won it through sheer luck since I was able to land the final hit and kill him the same time he killed me. Aldrich was easily the hardest, with Champ Gundyr coming in at a close second.
Pope Sully wasn't particularly difficult for me, and the Abyss Watchers were honestly super ****ing easy, since I staggered them so easily with my broadsword.Aldrich was easily the hardest boss for me, bizarrely so. No one else came close. It's his ****ing rain of arrows attack combined with spamming huge soul arrows.
Spoiler:
Also I was emotionally compromised because he killed my Dark Souls husbando.
Originally posted by EstacadoHonestly? I accidentally summoned a sunbro for that fight (I pressed A one too many times lol), so I don't really know. It didn't seem hard, but I have yet to fight him solo like I did Pope Sully, Aldrich, and Gwyn's strapping young lad (the Nameless King is Gwyn's firstborn son and almost certainly Priscilla's dad).
👆What about the Princes?
All of you saying Nameless King was easy probably weren't soloing him without summons and/or were using spells or blocking.
Try two handing with no shield and it's a much harder fight. Took me six tries on normal game my first playthrough. I beat him in five tries on NG+ with no summons. He's not super hard but he's definitely not a *****. Shields have always trivialized bosses. Put on your big boy pants and try it like a man 😉

The Nameless King wasn't necessarily difficult, but he was the most difficult boss in the game. If you compare him to something like Watchdog of the Old Gods from the Defiled Chalice dungeon in Bloodborne then the Nameless King is a cakewalk.
Are there multiple versions of him?
Originally posted by AstnerSee, your opinion differs from a lot of people though. I've heard BB bosses are the worst in the series as well. I'm not saying you're wrong and they're right. Also, I didn't think that NK was the hardest boss in DKS3. For me, I had the most problems with the Dancer. It took me 12 tries to kill her the first playthrough for whatever reason. It only took me 6 for NK. Again though, I never summon help and I always two hand with no shields or spells. Other people have said that the last boss is the hardest; whereas I one-shot him.
