Is it hard keeping up with equipment that way? I don't imagine you need to do many quests.

They give you a bunch of comms now to buy new gear. But when I did it with my Wrath back before SoR came out they didn't have that and I was using some gear that was 20-30 levels below my level. 😛

I disliked how the whole act was just like "go here and find a thing, repeat". It felt like an act long fetch quest. Especially when it was all for a ritual I knew was a trap and had no interest in doing. The other storyline's all gave you a reason to want to go to all these places. With the Jedi you actually felt like you were saving Jedi Masters or entire planets, with the Warrior you felt like you were tracking down Jaessa, a Smuggler chasing the big score etc. With the Inq, I just felt like I was a lowly apprentice performing menial tasks for Zash.

The final 2 acts felt more personal, I had some stakes in beating Thanaton. And by that point I felt like a badass and enjoyed it more.

I felt the opposite, the Warrior gets preferential treatment for the whole game and prestige gets handed to you pretty much. With the Inquisitor you really have to claw your way to getting some respect.

Blood was easily the most hateable villain in the game imo. Which makes him a great villain, I couldn't wait to kill that guy.

Consular is my favorite Republic story. 👆

Consular quest is awesome. The threat the Children of the Emperor and Vivicar were rivaled by perhaps only the Emperor.

Please, using the power of five other people and having ritual after ritual given to you, even if for someone else to use later on, is having something handed to you. The Wrath wins of their own power, and I mean that as literally as possible, especially with the sabotaged training.

The Wrath's was easily my favorite as well. You actually felt like a Sith and not just some deranged killer. I especially loved when you converted that one Jedi to the dark side.

That yandere is extreme, though, and yeah also like that scene. Alderon had great build up to that point as well.

"It's going to be fun, reacquainting you with reality." IMO, even the dialogue is better written for the Wrath.

Nox had to go out and acquire all those ghosts and rituals though. And she really has to work to master all that power as well. The Wrath doesn't get sabotaged training, he gets special training. He's already a trained fighter from privilege who gets further privilege from Ironically Black Racist dude. And then he becomes Baras' apprentice despite Vemrin earning it alot more and then gets chosen as the Wrath without having to do anything. Nox was a slave, gets completely shat on on Korriban because of it, given a ton of suicide missions, gets betrayed by her master and then Thanaton and has to scramble for power and desperately master it just to survive.

Sorry, but becoming a ghostbuster was stupid as ****.

Edit: Korriban and Kaas were cool though. But the rest so far has been awful.

Honestly, Nox' story could've been much better. More trickery and a relatively more sophisticated application of force rituals would have been cool.

"You're special, so ghosts are drawn to you. Here's how you do it." was all it took for Nox to shoot up the Imperial ranks.

It's noted several times that Baras doesn't actually train the Wrath because he was planning to replace him/her. And Vemrin was not powerful enough to do Baras' bidding without said training. The Wrath was far more powerful, plain and simple.

Nox was a slave, gets completely shat on on Korriban because of it, given a ton of suicide missions,

With their companion who grows stronger with every kill.

gets betrayed by her master

Right after being given several artifacts and rituals to increase their power, and Zash's entire power base. The Wrath has to build their own, in case you also forgot that detail.

and then Thanaton

Right after binding two ghosts if I recall correctly.

and has to scramble for power and desperately master it just to survive.

Like I said. Using everyone else's power isn't having the odds against you. From Act 1 onward it was very clear that Thanaton would be defeated, and easily, and low and behold he was.

"There's also the issue of her not being able to be possessed at all by Vitiate. It's well established in the Jedi Knight story that he can possess pretty much everyone as long as he's near enough to them. He however doesn't possess the player character out of amusement to figure out what they will do next. "

Is there any confirmation on this?

Well he says at the end of Ziost that he will spare them because he gets amusement in their efforts to stop him. That's all I can think of.

This is most interesting. Thanks for the share.

But didn't Lana Beniko get trained in the ways of the Sith in the Empire? There is an article describing her experiences as an acolyte.

Back on the topic of the possibility of Valkorion not being Force sensitive, the argument has been made by some that Valkorion is Force sensitive because of statements about "power" and being "immortal" as well as the fact that his twin sons are powerful Force wielders.

A counter argument is that powerful force sensitive children don't indicate a force sensitive parent. Indeed it is true that some characters who are very powerful in the Force, such as Sidious or Bane, did not have force sensitive parents.

Indeed it is a possibility that two strongly force sensitive identical twins (who would have the same genetic make-up) could be born to a parent who is not force sensitive. Given that Valkorion's daughter is also Force sensitive however, I find it extremely unlikely that the only two eggs fertilized by Valkorion (since the twins would come from the same initial egg being fertilized then splitting, while their sister would come from the other) just happen to develop into force sensitive children when Valkorion himself is non-Force sensitive. Without Force sensitive parents, the likelihood of that happening just wouldn't be reasonable. So from that, I'd conclude Valkorion is Force sensitive.

I don't believe she's his daughter. Also, Valkorion's probably going to be Vitiate.

He isn't Vitiate, it's pretty obvious because Vitiate's VA is still on contract and Vitiate created one empire, not the multiple that Valkorion refers to.

They're brothers. Bioware has been watching Gravity Falls.

It's prolly Vitiate.

A RPG have an end.. not an MMORPG....

And for Revan 3.0 everyone was yelling the same...

Why am I not surprised?
