Lol.Mass Effect 3 was a good game. Butthurt grognards pissing and moaning about the ending just ignore the quality of the rest of the game because they're twats.
I felt like ME3 was not as focused as ME2. Like, given that the collectors could harvest an entire colony in a matter of minutes it did not feel to me that I could spend my time zipping from planet to planet talking to politicians. That part of the game fell very flat to me. The story itself was interesting, but the premise was hard to swallow.
...And can somebody tell me why this trailer is getting shat on? I thought the twin Galen Mareks (both played by Sam Worthington) were pretty sick, honestly. Watching a 2v1 fight against Emperor Liam Neeson would've been cool. Speaking as someone who only watched the trailers for SWTOR, I'm excited at anything that gets me more Star Wars animated in something other than Clone Wars claymation 3D.

ME3 wasn't as good as ME2 and it wasn't as well written as ME1. There were definitely aspects of ME3 that were bad beyond the ending. I watched a guy I like livestream through the game and I was amazed at how bad some parts were when I looked with a more critical eye. But I still maintain that it was a good game that I enjoyed playing and is still a positive experience.
The trailer/expansion is getting shat on because of how terrible the premise of "and then a bigger, eviller empire invaded and it kicked everyone's butts and it had an even stronger, eviller emperor" is. Also, the trailer really fails to convey the context and promote the expansion itself. It doesn't answer the questions of who these people are, or why they attacked the Republic and Empire or what they want or what the situation is or why we should care.

Are you kidding? That's an awesome concept! Like I said before it's like what happened with Mad Karnock in Manta Force. Another example would be the Horde in Masters of the Universe.
Having it be just "this is the good side and this is the bad side" gets boring. Now it's "this is the good side, this is the bad side and this is the OTHER bad side." It adds so many more elements.
True, I'd have preferred it if the twins killed their father and were the main boss together but hey, can't have everything.

Well they can't give away everything at once.
As to what happened to Vitiate, I'm wondering if the Eternal Empire somehow enslaved him and used him as a weapon. That could be part of the reason they were able to beat both the Republic and the Sith Empire.

So they took two brothers, downloaded Starkiller skins onto them, and made the compete for their father's approval through battle. And one fateful battle led the two brothers on a path toward a conflict with one another.
It's Thor and Loki.

It's Dragonball Z all over again. You thought Frieza was the ultimate bad guy? Wait until next season when you meet a brand new villain who's a thousand times more powerful than him. Then the next seasons with an even MOAR powerful villain who was hiding in the shadows the whole time.

So a big theory doing the rounds (and may in fact be true) is that ValkorianSpoiler:. No idea if it is, but people over on Reddit are getting a bit crazy about it.
and Vitiate are brothers
Until the next tampering with that era sees that Volkarion was actually one of the original Jedi from the pre-Republic years who encountered Jacen Solo when he time-travelled from Beyond-the-Beyondist-of-Shadows, and decided to time-travel himself to the future to control Vitiate in order to get closer to the fabled Revan so that he could fuse with his spirit to become the ultimate Force Incarnation---the Chosen One...
Who was born years later from the machinations of a Sith Lord named Plagueis who was actually the descendant of Vitiate who lived with a mouse that lived in the house that Bandon built.

Then, the Entity's origin is revealed. Meetra Surik got rid of her wound by having a bioware inflicted case of Gollum syndrome, where her wound half of her spirit broke off and flew away, merging with Traya's spirit to become the entity.
The Entity is then summoned to Kathemar to bang Vitiate, to discover that the other half of Meetra merged with Vitiate to become Meetriate. So when Meetriate and the Entity have sex, the Meetra soul halves refuse, merging Meetriate and the Entity to form Meetrayviate. Then, using Traya's drain powers, Meetra's wound powers, and Vitiate's force shlurrping nom of death, Meetrayviate starts draining entire systems by sneezing, reducing planets to wastelands of death and snuffing out stars, all while casually drinking a glass of water.
Then, sensing the disturbance of the Force, Revan's ghost decides to try and stop Meetrayviate, having close ties to all of its components. The fight however ends in sex, and Revan's ghost gets absorbed into Meetrayviate, transforming this specter into Meetrayvaniate. Then Meetrayvaniate developed multiple personality disorder (again) and started to divide into 8 distinct personalities: Painter Vitiate, Dark Revan, Darth Traya, Non-Wound Meetra Surik, Artist Vitiate, Light Revan, Rape-Victim Traya, and Wound Meetra Surik.
Before these 8 personalities can turn on each other and attempt to kill each other, a massive spirit orgy ensues, leading to the conception of Valkorion, who as a three year old harnessed the power of the force and consumed Meetrayvaniate's power and essence with a casual stare. Then Valkorion's power expanded exponentially throughout the years and he had two kids (one of whose descendents would eventually start the Marek family).
At least that's what I thought the story was.
Spoiler:
Wouldn't surprise me if bioware went that route tbh

This post alone makes up for all the ridiculous shit you've said over the past few years. Gg 10/10 would read again.

As for the topic: Brother's huh? I'd pretend to hate it, but a clean slate, sort of, is a clean slate. I really don't care at this point.
