Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018)

Alden Ehrenreich looks alright as Han, but i feel like they should've went with Anthony Ingruber.

Doesnt need to be a Harrison Ford clone/copy cat. Just needs to catch a few of his mannerisms, and have some kind of similarity in looks.

Like Ewan McGregor gave his own take on Obi-Wan which was received well by audiences.

But Ewan's Obi sucks!

I'll back that.

His acting was dismal.

But like so many others complained it was difficult to be in character when you're surrounded by nothing but green screen.

Well its all subjective, but pretty sure you are in the minority there.

Every time I watch Ewan act... I get him mixed up with this actor...

^ How dare you

Yeah. I know.. it s a bit of an insult to compare that Piece of Wood Actor to the guy in the 2nd pic.....

100% it's subjective.

I just thought Ewan's acting was so wooden & he just delivered his lines.

There was never one stand out scene where I was convinced he'd grow & mature into the role Alec Guiness made iconic.

The Mustafar battle. YOU WERE MY BROTHER ANAKIN

Yeah, Episode 3 was where Ewan was best in the role and some scenes in Episode 2.

Agreed. His performance massively improved from Ep.1 to Ep.2. In Ep.1 he was kinda wooden tbh. But by Ep.3 he was fabulous in the role.

You see I thought where Alec made the character Iconic and famous, Ewan brought more kinda coolness to the role and made him immensely more popular. Like on the level of a Han Solo.

I just felt Ewan as Obi had better screen presence with Neeson as an actor by his side.

But the moment Qui Gon died & Ewan took on the lead role, he didn't have enough screen charisma.

A young Alec Guiness/Obi Wan would've chastised Hayden's bratty Anakin, not roll his eyes & shake his head to "Annie's" shenanigans.

Something else from Legends being used, The Cloud-Rider gang originally appeared in a handful of Marvel comics in the 1970s

I can't wait to see how they remove all guns from the movie and replace them with walkie talkies.

Only if Spielberg was doing it.
