lets be honest here. None of them were super. 😂

This movie was extremely lame it just wasn't as bad as Batman v. Superman.

Bashes BvS saying its a piece of shit and says something about real heroes don't wear spandex etc

then near the bottom

“I look at them and scratch my head. I’m really baffled by it. I think there’s a lot of waste, but maybe if I did one of those things with the green screens I’d find out different,” Gibson said. “It seems to me that you could do it for less… You’re spending outrageous amounts of money, $180 million or more, I don’t know how you make it back after the tax man gets you, and after you give half to the exhibitors.”

Good catch. 👆

So Affleck wanting to quit pretty much is confirming Justice League will be on the same level as BvS. If he had faith in the JL movie he'd not be so eager to give up the Batman role.

The need to push the flashpoint button.

It is the same shitty director. What did you expect a sudden miracle ? It's quite obvious preparation and a cohesive plan (marvel) are favorable to shitting out films and introducing as many characters as possible in YouTube links.

Probably won't happen. Money wise and the fact that WB keeps on adding more films to their lineup.

Mel Gibson bashes superheroes and uses the cliched spandex line...and yet now we hear he's in negotiations to direct the Suicide Squad sequel?

🙄

Piss off, Mel. Over inflated movie budgets? You once got $40 million for the POS known as Lethal Weapon 4.

Yeah that's pretty much confirmed.

I think they need a reboot, but I think they should steeer clear from shared universes and stick the solo franchises. They can't do the shared universe thing right IMO.

Wow what a train wreck. Zack Snyder and David Ayers tag-teamed to kill DC.

I'm not saying BvsS was awesome, but are we at the point of caring what Mel Gibson thinks about stuff?

Also, has it been said *why* Afleck wants out? It surely can't be because the movies were shitty, one look at his filmography tells us he has no qualms about putting out turds.

Shitty is a subjective term but obviously Ben feels these movies are shit which I whole heartedly support. DC has always been second rate. Now the general public is made aware of their loser mentality.

Yes shitty is subjective, and I would think most people would agree he has done some real epic turds.

Unless you're a big fan of Gigli or Jersey Girl.

I was never a Ben Affleck fan but even he recognizes DC sucks. Ben Affleck wasn't even near great as the batman and the DC fanatics still cling to him. Zombies unable to think.

Who knows? I for one think Gibson is an interesting choice. So far, the DCEU has made some good money. I don't see them quitting anytime soon.

I guess the difference is, he wasn't contracted to do sequels to those films.

I think DC is hoping Gibson will the "Kenneth Branagh" they need.

Then again there was nothing unique Branagh brought to Thor IMO.
