Never saw Gone Baby Gone, but it's supposed to be really good.

The PotA films are alright, but I don't get the hype.

Ben didnt direct Good Will Hunting. He did help write it, though. Argo is good, though. But Apes is better, imo.

Reeves is writing and directing Batman, so GWH is a valid point.

GWH is a collaboration. I'm strictly speaking of directing. Reeves movies are slightly better, IMO.

A bit silly comparing a huge and loved franchise like Planet of the Apes to small films like Argo and The Town, but whatever. Let's just praise every movie WB makes.

How is it fair to just talk about directing (even though you could argue Affleck is better anyway) when he's supposed to be writing AND directing the Batman?

No. I mean you're praising Affleck getting replaced by a equal/inferior director/writer/creator even though that was clearly a big screw up by WB. Getting Reeve's was a decent move in a bad situation. But let's not pretend the whole swap has been some kind of blessing.

Inferior in your opinion. How was it bad? Reeves not using someone else's idea/script isn't necessarily bad.

I prefer Reeves to Ben, anyway. At least when it comes to this type of genre. I would have liked to see Ben's version, too.

You think too much. Movies change directors a lot. Look at Wonder Woman? I remember you crying about that too. Now it's one of the most successful films to date and one of the most highly rated super hero films.

Reeves is a better choice for Batman, IMO.

And I remember you arguing to death Wonder Woman (or any Solo films after MOS) before JL was a mistake and that WW was too big a risk anyway because Females don't sell Lol. That was when you thought WB wouldn't give us any more Solo films pre-JL.

Until of course WB decided to do that and then you jumped on board. They really have you on puppet strings.

Look at the Flash. Where's that at? Yeah continuously changing directors is obviously a great thing.

And Affleck stepping down wasn't a simple change of directors Lol
