Ben is good, no doubt, but Reeve's ape movies are better than anything Affleck has done sans the Town, imo.Let Me In was pretty good, too. Definitely better than Bens last gangster film.
If you have to add a "but not this one" to your argument, it doesn't really help it.
The ape movies are good no doubt, but still.

Never saw Gone Baby Gone, but it's supposed to be really good.
The PotA films are alright, but I don't get the hype.

Apes is WB?
No. I mean you're praising Affleck getting replaced by a equal/inferior director/writer/creator even though that was clearly a big screw up by WB. Getting Reeve's was a decent move in a bad situation. But let's not pretend the whole swap has been some kind of blessing.

Inferior in your opinion. How was it bad? Reeves not using someone else's idea/script isn't necessarily bad.

Would just be nice to see you being critical of the DCEU of being time. Or complaining when they screw up.
You think too much. Movies change directors a lot. Look at Wonder Woman? I remember you crying about that too. Now it's one of the most successful films to date and one of the most highly rated super hero films.
Reeves is a better choice for Batman, IMO.

^ Hope it's true. Affleck's will most likely direct the movie and he's becoming a great story teller. And you already know I like the idea of someone like Geoff Johns being involved in all DC movie projects. Gives that sense of cohesion in the DCCU and that strong connection to the source material.

And I remember you arguing to death Wonder Woman (or any Solo films after MOS) before JL was a mistake and that WW was too big a risk anyway because Females don't sell Lol. That was when you thought WB wouldn't give us any more Solo films pre-JL.
Until of course WB decided to do that and then you jumped on board. They really have you on puppet strings.
Look at the Flash. Where's that at? Yeah continuously changing directors is obviously a great thing.
And Affleck stepping down wasn't a simple change of directors Lol
