So it wasn't a failure, it just wasn't a big hit?
Hard to say. I dont think it was a smash hit. You can't just look at multipliers to say if a movie is a success. Civil War had a low multiplier, but was obviously a big hit. Batman forever budget was a 100, but back in the 90's the foreign market wasn't as extensive as it is now. Who knows how much profit it made overseas. What's important is domestic, especially during that era.

Really feels like you're just dancing around the point so you don't have to look bad.
Nah you haven't countered any of my points.
I'll leave you with this, then I'm done with your trolling on this point:

Captain America TFA 16 years after Batman Forever only grossed about 36million more than BF world wide. But guess what? It's production cost was 40million more. And it actually made slightly less domestic! Going by your nonesense TFA must have been a proper flop Lol.
id suggest you also check out the box office and budget for X-Men FC or X-Men Apocalypse. And this is literally decades later Lol
Heck MOS was a Flop going by the logic you're using Lol

You can believe whatever you want, but the numbers do not lie. Look on BOMojo. Budget was 100 Million. And that doesn't even include the MARKETING.
How is what you said at all relevant to what I said?
The movie was either a flop or it wasn't. Most of the evidence I've seen points to Not.

MOS was a flop, since its budget was high.

Batman Forever probably didn't turn a profit. Budget too high.
Google results say it did, unless you're using that weird math Hollywood uses to get out of paying its stars.
Here's another that talks about how well it did: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2015/08/14/the-biggest-superhero-movie-flops-and-successes-of-all-time/?utm_term=.2a27c30866d5
