Why now I'm almost leaning towards replacing the actor and keeping the character as the smartest move. They just have to get someone as good (or better) for the role.

That or go with a redemption story for Kill Monger as the audience already knows him, where he didn't die because of his powers and he earns the right to become the new BP. If they do this, they can kill T'Challa on screen, using someone in a suit and CGI for the open mask scenes.

Yes I would be good with either of those two scenarios.

But they said they wont do the first, which would have been my preference. Its a bit odd just stopping TChallas story like that after 1 solo film. And I dont think it would be disrespectful to Chadwick Boseman at all to recast.

I don't think it would be disrespectful either, dude died of cancer. It's not like he was fired for some bullshit and then recast.

Always thought BP was avarage at Best even after seeing it multiple times.

I was legit sad when Chadwick passed.
