I won't say I would've been surprised at either outcome; both BB and DS know their stuff, and they employed similar strategies. But I was excited to learn what DS was planning when Id PMd me to ask about the legality of Herc's arsenal. I thought he might be damn near impossible to take out. And he was, but BB was sufficiently impressive in his offensive options. I think there's a fair number of combos right now that wouldn't have had the means to find and kill DS. So it was a good match.

Congrats to beAtboks! Was def a fun match....

My thoughts:
Firstly, thanks to the judges, and thanks to Supermutant for stepping up. Having judged before, I know how piss-annoying it is when others question your judgements, after you've spent time wading through all the arguments. With that said, I will only say two things, and then will leave it.

[*]Digi - I guess I should have made it more explicit (learning lesson for me for next time!) that I was also relying on channeling Sun energy, with or without beatboks' input. I tried too hard to be sneaky, and left parts of my strategy too late (because I wanted to ensure beatboks couldn't counter it).

[*]Supermutant - the fight with the Ferryman (in my scan) was going badly for Winter, NOT because it was magic, but because the Ferryman was being incredibly amped by all the death and destruction around him. Like a fat guy gorging himself.

With that said, I hope I showcased what Winter could do to those who didn't know him, and hopefully pulled a few surprises out of the bag for those who did.

It's the forum's loss, really, as you will now not see my incredible amalgam that I had planned for the next round sneer
