As far as BFR is concerned, it's really no "cheaper" than "mind rape" attacks or intangibility attack/defence as tactics, you can either defend against them or you can't.

As many have said, at this level pretty much any power is attainable and/or defensible.

I really don't know much about Snowbird, so I didn't include her in my votes... Mistake? I dunno.

Difference is, I can name a fair number of telepaths that are viable at this level (or those with solid tp defense). Because it's amalgamation, there are even a few high meta that would work well. But the list of people that can dimension dump or otherwise BFR is pretty limited. I'd hate to see one guy roll through on that loophole. So yes, it's defensible. But not nearly as much so as other powers.

Intangible's always been another problem. Only so many phasers out there. It does feel less cheap to me than BFR, though. And there's always some way to deal with it, even without a phaser of your own.

Also, Death Metal. He falls under the immortality rule. Doubt anyone was thinking of him, but just an FYI.

How many votes equals a ban? Technically you could shoot down any nominated character strategically

Ultimately, this is ID's tournament. I say once the ban thread is done, he just makes a post laying down the rules, and we all roll with it. Otherwise this tourney will never happen, as we're getting bogged down in discussion already.

Snowbirds fine. She's powerful but nothing IMO that puts her over low Herald
