New Darth Vader....Vader down.

Well yeah, but I'm curious if he also has any hidden ranged attack, like how the Twins had flamethrowers. But we shall see, regardless can't wait to see him in full action against Rebel forces.

Unless Chewie was given the antidote off-panel, and unless said antidote cured him nigh-instantly, then he's still poisoned.

...Which is meh.

Curious, but anyone think that the Twin cyborgs or most likely Commander Karbin might get a mini solo series? Like a 5 issue like how Lando was perhaps?

IDK

I'm curious why they have made too few appearances in general.

Less is more perhaps?

Maybe they don't wanna give everything away on them? I mean for what we have, we know that

1. Created with the finest technology from the smartest tech person in the galaxy Dr. Cylo

2. Clearly trained to fight with sabers for 20 years(the Twins) and cybernetically enhanced(Karbin) for 2 years. The Twins also wrecked an entire platoon of suped up Battle Droids which previously wrecked armed guards.

3. Karbin being a former General and has shown knowledge of military tactics. He probably also has incorporated what he knows to suit his cybernetics.

4. The Twins were sent to eliminated the criminal organization Plasma Devils which had been causing problems for the Empire, destroying Imperial posts on Mygeeto, Son-Tuul and Anthan 14.

5. The Twins and Karbin have shown to deflect/block blaster shots with their sabers, so their reflexes are high.

All of these instances of course over Vader's comic run. We'll probably see much more from Karbin in the next issue seeing as Rebel reinforcements are arriving.

scans coming of Commander Karbin vs. Darth Vader

(Minus two more scans where in the background Karbin/Vader are still locking blades).

(Duel ends when Aphra informs Vader Karbin's forces are escaping with Luke, and Vader has Aphra smash her ship into him damaging him and Vader decapitates him). Vader also in a fit of rage blasts a hole into the shuttle

Vader blasting a hole through a shuttle and downing it

Vader was also only struck because Ben Kenobi was interfering or he was having a force vision. In the comic, Ben tells Luke to run away from the Jedi temple- and in the scan Kenobi's ink is interfering with Vader and causes him to pause.

A thousand Rebels? Hypehypehypehypehypehypewankhypehype

Great issues. As always a lot of fun.

Though, as nice as the saber fight was the highlight was the Wookiee brawl.

I REALLY hope they didn't just kill off Commander Karbin like that....I doubt it, cause honestly he seems like a really interesting character. But then the end of the issue, there was that other cape behind Vader, so he could have survived.

Also that blaster throw accuracy to Luke's head!

Why would Vader not kill him?

It would be really stupid if he survived somehow.

Cause it just seems like a waste of a character, not saying he can't though. But it just seems rather stupid to make these characters, only to throw them away 1st actual confrontation.

Did Grievous rape Ackbar?

Why? If it serves the story do it. You can always make new characters.

^ Seems very unlikely that Vader would allow Karbin to live, given his utter disdain for Cylo's creations:

Anyway...

It just seems pointless then. But /shrug

I just don't like interesting characters be wasted without good exposition.
