Sorry. Just realized I got Iran and Iraq mixed up and it's too late to edit. Iraq (and Syria) are the ones who have most ISIS members. However, that doesn't make what I said aout Iranians being evil terrorist bastards any less true. Have people forgotten the airliner hostage incident with Iran years ago under Reagan? Iran and the U.S. can NEVER be real friends and the former can't be trusted to stand by their end of the deal. Especially when tens of thousands or more of them were shouting "Death to America!" on the exact same day that this agreement was reached.

Star, there is no point in getting such an emotional response over something that might be just a misunderstanding between us, obviously we aren't engaging the experience of iranian people on the same level. Let me clarify.

The first people who are hurt and affected by the nefarious tendencies of the Iranian government are the iranians themselves, those I've met (obviously not in Iran, since I've never had the pleasure to visit that country), have expressed their disagreement with the general policies of the state. All of them want peace, because they are aware of the damage war has done to their society.

Just like with americans, or french, or whatever, you'll find that many of them are rather sensible and willing to openly accept those from abroad. Taxi Téhéran just won the Golden Bear in Germany. Watch that movie and then come back and tell me Panahi is full of hate. Panahi's movies got censored by the government, he's forbidden to film in his own country. Their sensibility and cool attitude isn't erased because their government acts in dubious ways.
