Iranian Agreement goes through

What makes France strong btw? They had that train gunman on their watch list for what 3 years? And never picked him up, it came to US military members on vacation to stop him.

They have stopped several other terrorist attacks though, more than five from january to may according to the First Minister. Our army is also active in Africa, we couldn't convince Obama to invade Syria back when the problem was smaller.

While the UK also has a big army they got cold feet after the disappointment that was the Iraq war, right now they are not very interested in participating on international conflict.

Look, if you want to talk about 'who is better at stopping shooting attacks,' France has us beat, hands down. We fail to stop far more. Get a better example.

But more into general power- they have the second best force projection capacity in the world and lots of elite units. They have presence in many countries as when they gave up their colonies, they still kept ties with them.

Economically, they're the 6th biggest on Earth (estimated- very close to the 5th), and have a lot of trade influence beyond their boarders. As one of the big powers in the EU, they can convince a lot of European countries- who in turn collectively have a good amount of power- to back them on most matters.

I don't think so. [/B]

Tell it to mohammed reza pahlavi.

I can't help but be reminded of what happened with North Korea over a similar deal when Clinton was in office. What stops Iran from doing the same? Korea said that they would do many things concerning nuclear armaments, and now that very same nation has missiles trained on their neighbors. This deal with Iran is going to turn around and bite us in the ass. We had the advantage, and then gave it up like a naive child trusting that the bully wouldn't turn around and steal their candy once again. We lost every advantage that we had in a matter of 7 days. The US peace makers wanted the deal so badly, that they have now made it possible for the entire world to come under fire.

Iran doesn't need nukes to hit Israel. Why would they need to launch nukes at Israel when Israel is right in their neighborhood? Those nukes will be used to hit nations from further away, and we just gave them the means to do so. The US and Europe could easily become long range targets.

If we can imagine that Iran without the cruise missiles pushed, and poked at several European countries in the not so distant past without having the means of nuclear weapons backing them, can you imagine what will happen when they do? We just enabled a country with a dark history, and walked away, while placing Israel on watch. By ignoring history, we have made it very possible for it to repeat itself, except this time the consequences may likely be catastrophic. We have now placed Israel on watch, while allowing rogue nations such as Cuba and Iran to move somewhat freely under the radar. The shit is about to hit the fan.

What I find terribly disturbing, is that instead of working on increasing the strength of our infrastructure, we have enabled a nation that has enabled terrorists. What would happen if the US came under an EMP attack? Strengthening our infrastructure, was far more important, than enabling a rogue state to do exactly what they wanted to do from the start.

Can't agree with your statement that Iraq wouldn't use nukes on Israel. You say that they don't need nukes to attack Israel but it's clear to me they do. The Iranian military is no match for Israel's and the Iranians know that damn well whether they actually admit it or not. If they attack Israel they know what will happen to them so they would want to make damn sure that their attack at least succeeded in destroying them. Nukes are the only way to practically guarantee that.

I couldn't agree more with your concern about strengthening our country's infrastructure from an EMP attack. I've been bringing that up for months and of course the libs did nothing but laugh and brush it off as me being delusional:

http://www.enddayssurvival.com/report/1/9/10131/14316796/

http://www.killermovies.com/forums/f80/t610626.html

The libs prefer to keep the wool over their eyes and keep living in their fantasyland where they think nothing bad will ever happen. An EMP attack is the only way for anyone to attack us without suffering major casualties themselves. IT would cripple us and send us back to the dark ages, yes... and Obama has done virtually nothing to strengthen our outdated and very susceptible power grid from such an attack. It would take years to repair our grid if an EMP attack brought it down. People don't seem to realize how dangerous such an attack would be to us.

However, I"m not worried about an EMP attack rom Iran but instead Russia. As shown in the video above, Putin is the propheseid "King of the North" described in the bible. All the evidence points to the fact that Russia is the one who we should be worried about an EMP attack coming from. Not Iran. Putin has motive. He has the capability NOW as opposed to ten years from now. He fits the prohecy. Iran's leader doesn't. And I even showed a video in a link in the religion forum that was a news program showing evidence that Russian planes have been running test runs much more often and much closer to our borders (not just talking about Alaska either) than they ever have in history. Satellite photos couldn't detect the presence of nukes (nukes have a very specific energy signature) but instead a different type of weapon was being carried by these planes. Had to have been an EMP weapon. Funny thing is, that video was taken down by someone and replaced with a different video about racial baiting by the liberal media and Obama.

If they used nukes on Israel, the yield would hurt them as well. The bombs used in Japan (Hiroshima & Nagasaki) were a lot less powerful than the ones being used today. The King of the North is actually supposed to be a German led Europe. As for the EMP possibility, I just think that it would be better for the US to shore up it's weakness, because as you stated, our grid is antiquated beyond belief, if compared to the level of technology being used today. Obama isn't the only President that has ignored this weakness, it was spoken about well before his time. I was just very surprised by the turn of events that took place with what was clearly a poor deal with Iran. I saw it like "How can you trust a known arsonist with a gallon of gasoline, and a book of matches?"

The way that it was pushed through, seemed so very sketchy. No one appeared to be the least bit alarmed by what Iran was ultimately asking for, and the reasons behind them. What further confused me, was the idea that we hadn't learned from past history and that nothing may stop Iran from following suit. Meanwhile the US is weakening it's stance across the board, in a time that appears more dire than ever. I mean can no one see what's going on with ISIS? Like WTF???

Don't know where you get your facts from but you're wrong. Putin is the King of the North. No one fits the description of King of the North more than him.

Watch the video. The evidence that Putin is the King of the North is overwhelming.

Do you believe that the Iran deal was a good one? If so, is there anything about it, that you could see going horribly wrong?

We just need to change some details. Like this "no Americans can inspect" bullshit needs to be tossed out the window. Oh, and one more part of the deal should be: any leaders in Iran need to shut the f*ck up about wiping Israel off the map or any of that shit. They wanna talk about that shit do it in private, no more spewing dumb shit out in the open. No more endorsing books about how to fool America, none of that shit.

If they are too stupid to keep their mouths shut or lack the self control to keep their mouths shut they should be removed from power.

If it works like it's supposed to, yes, friendlier terms with Iran is good for the US and the world as a whole.

They break the terms of the deal and build nukes. They use the inflow of no embargo money to further sour relations with Israel. But then they're the dicks and world pressure will be on them. Still not a good though.

More humorous downplaying with zero substance.

How about we add a clause: they break the deal we drop nukes on their country.

I don't think any of the signing nations, including the US, would be for that.....

But hell if we nuke them off the map they technically won't have to worry about Israel anymore.

In a roundabout way they get what they have always wanted: nukes and not having to worry about Israel. Meanwhile the rest of the world no longer has to worry about Iran. Everybody wins.

Stoic and your BFF were talking about fringe religious prophecy (The King of The North), that is not the topic of the thread.

What did I downplay? Because it seems like you're upset and responding to me negatively without really reading what I said.

You understand this is much more extremist than what Iran says about Israel?
