You are pretending that this character is just as durable as Iron when we knows that all the characters in DB already enhance the natural durability of their skin and muscles via the use of the Chi.
Here we have a character with a skin naturally as durable as the iron AND with the ability to boost it even more with the use of Chi.

Given the nature of the show, they could very well be glass cannons with excellent energy defenses, and poor physical defense (Or not. But there isn't exactly many points of comparison.. Tanking gun fire and bombs is about the biggest feats that could be somewhat measured..)
