Neither was Krillin at base. By board rules, all active powers start in the off position, such as Green Lantern shields and such, while passive powers get to be on by default, since they're involuntary.
Which means Goku doesn't even start in a powered up base form, just a base base, guard completely open at the bell.
If it takes him a half second to power up at base, that's a half second he simply won't have.

A computer couldn't even keep up with Goku switching his power level on and off. A second is nothing to him when it concerns him getting more powerful. You are trying to hard again.

It has been proven many times in that thread that you are wrong about Superman being fast in combat...
Superman has over 70 years of experience at being a punching bag.

Agreed, Superman wins easily. If a crossover ever happened, Beerus would probably be struggling with Kon-El.

The problem with DB vs Superman is easy to see. You know, it's easy to catch up witch everything canon to DB, hence I consider my Information complete on this part. For Superman it's much much more difficult and it comes down to lowballing or misinformation from the DB side, see Carver (no offense bro, your doublestandard is unparalled here). If you take Clarks lowest and put it against the lowest of Goku, Clark wins, take the highest of both and Clark stomps.
