And almost every character in DBZ gets arrogant if they believe they have an overwhelming advantage. Vegeta let Cell hit him. Cell allowed Android 16, Vegeta, and others to hit him..
Beerus, he essentially just stood there and allowed Goku to take his best shots. Only real dodging was to show off, but Goku got his hands on him too.

Like I said, Batman on his best day can't even detect Kid Goku if Goku didn't want to be detected. Beerus is a level far beyond this. With that said, why would Beerus allow Batman to hit him with a projector? He has dodged far less than that without even needing to. With that said, if Beerus sensed that kind of danger from Batman, he could look at Batman and freeze him in place.

In regards to the thread, Batman would probably have Superman come try and hold Beerus off while he developed a way to stop him. While Beerus wasted time toying with Superman, Batman would probably come up with a poison or something to try and kill him. However, Beerus was able to literally not even be affected by an advanced alien civilization trying to poison him, proving that it would most likely do nothing.
After that, the best they could hope for is the Flash distracting him long enough to find out his soft spot for Earth cuisine, and then use that information to win Beerus over, and appease him until he left Earth.
Or he'd just blow it up.
