Another Clinton lie about Trump and Isis

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/dec/19/hillary-clinton/fact-checking-hillary-clintons-claim-isis-using-vi/

Does Clinton EVER say anything that isn't a lie?

😂

'No evidence for Hillary Clinton's claim that ISIS is using videos of Donald Trump as recruiting tool"

"Our ruling

Clinton said that ISIS is "going to people showing Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists."

We were unable to find any evidence to support this. The Clinton campaign did not provide any evidence that this is already happening -- only that it could be happening, or that it may in the future. If ISIS was using Trump for recruitment videos, we would expect a frenzy of media coverage over it. We rate this claim False. "

Whenever Marco Rubio talks, I agree with him about 75% of the way and then he says something that reminds me why I switched to progressive politics.

Since you asked, let's look at the ratings!

True (28%)(39)
Mostly True (23%)(32)
Half True (21%)(29)
Mostly False (16%)(23)
False (11%)(16)
Pants on Fire (1%)

So, most of the time. 72% half or more true.

Compare to Trump:

True (1%)
Mostly True (6%)(5)
Half True (17%)(13)
Mostly False (16%)(12)
False (39%)(30)
Pants on Fire (21%)(16)

An astonishing 24% half or more true! Less than Hillary's 'entirely true' rating.

It's impressive that you two try and play Hillary off as the dishonest one when she outperforms every candidate you support in honesty. In some cases, by a gigantic amount.

Note also that 'false' can simply be getting stuff wrong, and... Trump's got a higher percentage *and* a higher raw total of both false and definitely-lies too.

As for this one, is Isis using Trump's words as recruitment? No. Is Islamophobia in general something used by said groups as recruitment? Yes. And 'us vs them' ism does play directly into their hands. So I can see where she's coming from, even if that statement is directly inaccurate, it is true that Trump's words are no help and quite possibly a hinderance- after all, people in that part of the world can get US news too, they don't need to use it direct in propaganda to see how Trump is lumping them in with Isis.

So, if honesty is important to you, how do you reconcile the high amount of lies and falsehoods of your candidates?

Because it comes across as *quite* the double standard when you try and constantly go, "Look, your candidate isn't perfectly honest! And, uh, don't look at our candidates honesty at all. And don't compare their honesty, or we'll get annoyed!".

This has come up before, and you two consistently try and worm your way out of answering how you fit in your so-called dislike of all the lies and insistence Hillary is 'such a liar' with your support of people who lie way more 🙂

He has a good chance of beating hilary too.

False things Trump has said involving middle eastern people:

Families of 9/11 terrorists were sent home

Makeup of Syrian refugees

What the Guantanamo released prisoners are up to

The (non-existent) existence of a Syrian-Christian ban to applying for refugeeship

Isis made a hotel in Syria

All pants-on-fire statements on the Middle East and related matters:

Says Obama wants to take in a quarter million refugees

'Thousands' of New Jersey Muslims were cheering 9/11

Soooo.... do you wish to continue to play the 'who's the worst liar' game? Or do you want to stop pretending everything Hillary says is the worst thing ever when she outperforms your candidate of choice as a matter of course? 🙂

Now, you can still actually point out "Hey, this is false/exaggerated," of course. Nothing wrong with that, every politician exaggerates and there's no problem calling them on it. But your over-the-top theatrics and acting like it's the worst thing ever and how-could-anyone-support-them-when-they-do-this just makes your own stances look two-faced.

LOL. You mean people actually bothered to watch this irrelevant debate?

I do kinda find it interesting how you and Time don't have the slightest interest in trying to learn about your opposition's point of view. You just assume you know everything you need to know, and take any tidbit you learn as the most laughable thing- even when it's in an area where the Democrats outperform the Republicans. You don't really compare the sides, you simply view each through entirely different lenses, don't you?

I find it interesting all you do is make things personal. When you can actually debate without tossing insults let me know.

Hilary failed with Putin, Libya, Syria, Iraq, Benghazi.

If everyone thinks she would be a good president you only have to look at her record at Secretary of State, everything she touched has fallen apart.

Lindsey Just dropped out.

Good riddance. Got tired of him talking shit about and to Trump (not to his face though, of course; too much of a coward for that).

Scary, Cruz has climbed a little more and is about half-way to Trump.

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/2016_republican_presidential_nomination-3823.html

Meanwhile Carson continues to freefall. When him, Huckabee, and Santorum drop out, Cruz may become the frontrunner.

The hell is Rubio dropping. He's a much more relatable candidate than Cruz. At least to me; that's probably the problem though, considering the party.

I think you might have misread my post.

Read it correctly.

My Rubio comment was on the side. Few weeks ago he was tied with Cruz, now he's dipping; while Cruz rises.

Oh I misunderstood then. Yeah I don't get it either. The fact that Rubio is now considered "establishment" because he seems moderate compared to Trump and Cruz might have something to do with it. The Republican base are a bunch of rebellious teens right now going for whoever's edgy or radical.
