47% isnt bad at all during a President's final approach, especially considering how skilled and efficient the Right's smear-machine is today.
Reagan was at about 53% when he left and Obama can potentially make the 6 points.
I used Reagan as he's generally lauded as the Right's posterboy/hero and overall mega-American.
since when is a 47% bad? when we have obama derangement syndrome and really really need it to be, so we can gloat and feel good about ourselves?
oh and i'll just leave this here:

W was worse than Obama, who was worse than Clinton, H.W., and Reagan.

Wow, 47% of Americans approve of Obama's presidency, not bad...
Yea, it's like, whenever you hear something about how much people dislike Obama, you check his approval ratings and they are the exact same as always.
They have not significantly budged in years. The Iran deal didn't move them, it just gave those who don't like him something to complain about and those who do something to trumpet as a victory (I mean, after all, GWB started his negotiations with a starting point offering more than Obama ended up giving- GWB would've taken this deal and people would call it a success, the backlash is mainly partisan).
A general rule of thumb is if someone thinks something has noticeably affected Obama's approval ratings for good or ill? They haven't.
Time-Immemorial
Obama is sitting back and enjoying his time.He don't have to do anything anymore but watch Iran get nukes and Obama care premiums rise 200%.
It's funny how he literally makes a deal that makes it harder for them to get nukes, when the alternative was sitting back and watching them get nukes if they wanted, and people cry the opposite. This is an example of the 'Did Obama do it? Then it must be wrong!' effect.
And so far, Obamacare has surpassed expectations and come in under budget.
But yea, all he has to do now is sit back and enjoy his time. He's not likely to get opportunity to do much big. Barack did his big policies, they're working, and the opposition is still going to try and roadblock him on anything (I can see him trolling with proposing bills to declare puppies and kittens are cute in order to get Republicans to call 'em ugly), so why not relax?
